Colorado TRX Owners

@tkdr6 Here’s video. At 52 sec mark. Slightly off on my memory. It’s 1332lbs
I'm starting to guess my TRX payload will be around 1,100 lbs. @tripleB I think is going to work on possibly calculating TRX payloads based off of options selected to give folks a more accurate guesstimate until they receive their truck.

May have been a key influencer for some when selecting the options of building our trucks if we knew all along how much each option would take away from available payload.

Hindsight is 20:20 :)

Totally agree. I've done Timber Grove airbags on my last two Rams to allow for loading them up more, but I don't know that I want to do them on this with the suspension setup it has.

OK cool, you may be just in time. Which part of Denver are you moving to? North, south, east, west?

We live north west between Denver and Boulder
I'm in if you guys go, never been. I live in the Southeast part of Denver, Franktown. @KnightMare found my truck, it is being held in Quality Control. Can't wait.

Sounds awesome, good luck on getting your truck soon!

@KnightMare is definitely an angel on this forum for all that he does for everyone else. Character speaks louder than words, race, religion, age, etc., and this dude's character is SCREAMING at everyone (in a positive way of course).

We'll post on this specific thread as we get closer to the sand dunes trip, so be sure to stay tuned. Likely won't be until late April or May as they don't open to the public until mid-April weather permitting.

3B, that would be very useful if you could. I would think that the add-ones with the greatest impact would be the sunroof and the in bed spare tire. I would guess the spare tire would be about 130-150 lbs. But the sunroof I have no idea.
I will admit that I did not get the sunroof because I didn’t want all that weight up high like that. It didn’t dawn on me that it would also cut into my payload so much. Chalk that on up for shear luck on my part.

Hey guys. New to the forum and new to Colorado. Been stalking here since the day the TRX was revealed. I didn't order one at that time because I already had a Bronco on order... Had a '18 Raptor for a while. Now, no car. Was planning to buy the Bronco and drive it for a while before getting a TRX or the '21 Raptor with a V8. After riding in a friend's Ram and then riding in another friend's Raptor in recent weeks I've decided that the Bronco isn't the right move and I want a TRX.

I called around the Denver area and everyone has ADM. I saw some posts on here but they are not the freshest. Does anyone have any recent experience getting a TRX at or below MSRP close to Denver? I'm willing to fly across the country to pick it up but wanted to start local.

If it matters, don't want a LE. Level 2 with all the bells and whistles will do for me. I don't like the Ram bar or stickers either.

Thanks for the help and hope to see you on the road soon!

Welcome to the forum and good luck on finding the right TRX that fits your needs!

In the Denver area Johnson Auto Plaza in Brighton, CO does NOT charge over MSRP and they are the BEST dealership ever! However, not sure if they have any allocations, so you'll have to call and find out what the wait time might be.

For other dealerships that might have a TRX you can buy much sooner, reach out to @KnightMare as he's tracking dealerships with current trucks for sale and allocations for new orders, and also has identified dealership that don't charge more than MSRP.

Good luck on your search and welcome this forum and the beautiful state of Colorado!

What happens in PM's stays in PM's ;) :ROFLMAO:

Taking delivery tonight in Greeley! I can't wait.
Congrats! Exciting day!

I'll have to connect with them. I called around to about 6 dealerships yesterday. Anyone who said they had a TRX that wasn't spoken for was going to call me back with the details. Didn't get a single call... Am I doing it wrong?

This boils down to supply and demand, these trucks are highly sought after and you have to be insanely persistent.

Make sure you do your research and you’re investing in dealerships that don’t have markups and dealerships that have available trucks now or at least have allocations so you can custom order one.

Also, patient, patient, patient, patient, patient.... Many of us including myself ordered the day after they launched (8-18) and still don’t have a truck.

Too bad patience isn’t a virtue I posses much of. 😬 Persistence is!

I’ll find the right one soon enough. Thanks for the advice so far. I’ll let you know if/when I stumble into something.

FINALLY!

So awesome man!!! So very excited for you!

I should have my truck show up at Johnson Auto Plaza next week. They are letting me come in and schedule an appointment to actually do the PDI (dealer prep and inspection) ALONG side of their technicians. We are going to include the ongoing list we have on this forum to review as well THREAD. I could NOT ask for a better dealership partnership and relationship... so happy with the dealer I chose!

We need to plan on getting TRX Colorado owners together beginning in March and drool over these beautiful machines!

Congrats.
