Colorado TRX Owners

Hey guys, what tires are you running after your stocks have worn out? I’m ready for a new set and I’ve always liked during track in the past, but leaning toward KO2 or KO3s. What do you guys like?
If you drive in snow, both hard packed and deep fluff then you can’t go wrong with the the Falken Wildpeak IMO

Gents (and Ladies if any owners here),

Have any of you used the Ram dealer in Castle Rock for maintenance of any kind for your Beasts?

Just wondering if you have had good or bad experience? Any nightmares etc…

Thanks much and stay safe!
Mark

Mickey Baja Boss - use to be a KO junkie and Baja’s are way better. Just my thoughts!
Agree with the Baja Boss as I use to only run KO’s.

That's my primary dealership since it's nearby. Not terrible and their schedule is typically pretty open.

Thanks as I have been going to Johnson Auto Plaza since I’ve had mine which is north of the airport. They have been great but far - always do free tire rotations but the price of gas up is about the same.

Not worried about that but just want to get great reliable service.

Any particular service advisor you recommend?

Yeah that's a heck of a drive. I don't have a specific advisor I always use just because they're so small, but usually get one of the same two every time. They're all pretty good including the service manager.

Appreciate it and will give them a try! 👍🇺🇸

I'm not sure if they are any "better" than other dealerships but there are 3 power broker dealers in Colorado. Johnson is one of them. Techs are supposed to be trained to install direct connection parts and what not.
I highly doubt those guys are the ones changing oil though. Double check their work no matter where you go and let us know if they are worth going to 👍🏻.

Totally agree and I do my own oil 😉

Them being a power broker was the main reason why I went. Very possible that if I need some major work I’d go back to Johnson. Time will tell 👍

Same for me on the oil changes I do them myself.
Perkins replaced my water pump and thermostat yesterday. So far so good..

How many miles on your beast until the water pump went out?

It didn't really go out per se. Had a slow leak for quite awhile. I know it is a power train item but my bumper to bumper ends in a couple weeks. I figured it was time to get it done before it failed. 29,400 miles.

Very good - I’ve got 43k on my 22 and so far so good. Radiator did develop the pin hole lead and replaced under warranty.
