Colorado TRX Owners

Do you happen to know if the remote start using the ram app still functions with igla? I know the key fob does just not sure if I could still use phone to crank up the beast...
Per my installer it does not but they are working I fix. No ETA.

I saw two TRXs in my neighborhood about 11:30AM today. A grey launch edition and a Black one. Both right near Alameda/Jewell/Bear Creek in the Green Mt area. Anybody from here? I wasn't in my Hydro Blue when I saw them today though.
Highly likely that I was the launch edition. I live in Ken Caryl Valley and drive in that area near Alameda frequently.

Just a reminder for this Saturday. I would love to see some of you!

Good news, truck has been built as of 4/18/23. Now awaiting the delivery date, although the tracker here on the forum says 5/28/23. We shall see. Is there a mod thread here that would help me support good businesses here in the area? I live in downtown Denver. The first things I would like to look at doing are
Paint correction, (if needed), ceramic coating and PPF.
Tinted windows in the front, and possibly the windshield.
Theft protection. Still not sure I am clear on the best path as I would want all the OEM stuff like remote start, app, etc. to work

Certainly open to your thoughts and do look forward to catching up with you guys over coffee or a beer.

Thanks in advance!

Did you end up going yesterday? The weather kind of sucked.
I had the truck all clean and shinny then I woke up to snow. Unfortunately, I did not go because of the weather. I was bummed. Looking forward to another event. I'll make sure to post the next thing I intend to attend.

I’d move theft protection to the top of the list my friend ….

Great to see another TRX owner in Colorado soon!

Agreeing with marcsoup about getting theft protection moved up to the top of the list. Either IGLA or Ravelco. If you want the remote start IGLA will be the best option. Colorado Car Audio installed mine, they are located up in Golden.

Great points but haven't I been reading about the IGLA option creating challenges with remote start/app usage from phone? It's a great call out and something I need to start with for sure. Appreciate your opinions. Also, I've always used the bakflip products on my Raptors. I see there is this one available now, which looks nice, but haven't seen one in action. Thoughts? https://realtruck.com/p/bak-revolver-x2-tonneau-cover/

Again, appreciate your suggestions on the security and experiences with those products.

Hey everyone! I finally got the beast! Colorado Springs has an another TRX on the roads!!!
Was driving North on Austin Bluffs yesterday and when I looked in the rearview, there was a Hydro Blue beast behind me!

Check out the Bakflip X4s, it’s their newest model and matte black on both sides, also roughly the same price as the X2. Regarding the IGLA, I’ve always just used the key fob to start the truck from inside so I’ve never had a need to use the app. Colorado holds the unfortunate top spot as the worst state for motor vehicle thefts per capita so some sort of theft deterrence is needed in Denver.

Has anyone used Sigma Kore for ceramic coating? Any reviews?

I have the backflip mx4 on mine and love it.

I would like to attend the Adam's Shine Fest. I am wondering where the TRX parking will be located?

Appreciate the advice on the cover, IGLA details, etc. Just spoke to Devin at Colorado Car Audio and he was also recommending I look into the Compustar. A bit pricier but has a few other bells and whistles, with no pin code needed. I was also looking at how I get the neutral strap cover as well. There is a lot of discussion all over this forum on those topics!! Any thoughts from the Colorado crew would be cool........
Still no delivery date, but hope it is within the next month.

Ive spoken to him as well as the owner. i will be taking mine to them for Compustar t13, keylocker/drone combo instead of IGLA. Also doing an Escort CI 360 redline and so7nd deadening with them. Of all front range installers, they seem the most professional.

I installed my neutral strap cover last weekend - simple to do and you can get it here…

Images of mine - I scratched it a bit but no body should see it.
