It's closed to motorized vehicles from 12-15 to 4-15, so unless we're really luck we'll have to wait until next April, but should be very fun/safe place to comfortably test the limits of your driving skills, and possibly even the TRX limits depending on your driving skills and comfort level.

Sure, I was planning on a trip out to White wash sand dunes (Dubinki) near moab. If Walden is closed this could be another option. Longer drive for you guys on the Front Range though.

Oh yeah, forgot about White Wash and have never been there before. Totally down for giving it a shot!

I'll do some online recon for White Wash and see if they have any times of the year where they close down for motorized vehicles.

Im new to colorado and in the springs area.... what would be closer the dunes or moab?

I’m down to do all of that. Was actually looking at off road clubs to join to discover best places to go. Won’t be in Colorado until May tho.

Colorado peeps, what's the air quailty like out there right now? Heading out there for a week next Monday to vacation on Shadow Mountain Lake and finailize some things for the house we are building in Windsor. Brining the whole fam so was curious if the smoke from the fires will be an issue.

We live in Timnath and it was pretty bad today in terms of smoke and the smell. Go to accuweather.com and it will tell you the air quality. We have two raging fires up here in NOCO unfortunately. One is coming in from Wyoming (Mullen fire) and ofcourse Cameron Peak up the poudre.

We are out camping this weekend and the weather is absolutely beautiful. Not much smoke and air quality seems to be fine.

We are just west of Denver and Jefferson county camping on the edge of the Rockies

By the by I’m just visiting Durango but my son lives in Frisco... near Brek... and he said it was pretty nice today but has been hazy lately. Cheers and have fun!!

What dealer did you end up going with? I feel like here around the Springs it is going to be impossible to get with one with no ADM.

Go see Johnson Auto Plaza in Brighton, CO. They are ranked the highest volume Ram truck sales in the state, they also have a very high customer satisfaction rating. This means they'll get priority from FCA to get your truck built.

This dealership DOES NOT charge single penny over MSRP. I'm not sure what allocations they have available, but they will definitely treat you right and won't charge over MSRP.

I have bought several vehicles from this dealership and service ALL my vehicles there. This dealership is by far the best dealership I have ever done business with (new/used vehicle sales, service, parts, extended warranties, and now the TRX).

I reached out to the dealership management and was given the OK to share their name and my experience on this thread. I highly recommend this dealership and how they conduct business.

This was the first dealer I reached out to after the release and they quoted me $25k ADM. Not sure if they’ve changed their tune but that was my experience

My bad. I reached out to Johnson but never heard back. It was Brandon Dodge who told me they were charging ADM.

You have to be persistent with them, these guys are a very high sales volume dealership and extremely busy. You can ask for Jason H. or Dave W. as they are both sales managers.

Hey, Golden, CO here. Have a bright white on order. No VIN yet. Gosh I wish I would have seen this earlier. I was suckered into ADM. I similarly got quotes of 10k, 15k and 25k over. Groove in Silverthorne was going to order at MSRP, but had no allocation, so FCA wouldn't accept. Wish I would have tried Johnson. That has to be the one dealer I didn't try. I ended up getting the dealer closest to me to drop their mark up, but still paid 5k over.

Pissed about it, but still super excited for the truck.

Hope you were able to miss the Troublesome fire explosion. Was super scary for that area of the county. Several friends with places up on those lakes, and a few lost their houses.

I ran into the same with all of the Colorado dealers, ended up going with a dealer in Nevada with 5k over on an LE. I don't think you did too bad there are lots of people paying way more in ADM. Congrats on the order!
