I've had the Falken AT4 for about 4k miles now. I like them.

They are way quieter and ride smoother than my factory tires with 32k miles, but it is not a fair comparison. My factory tires had gotten noisy and were beginning to cup. I think any new tires would have been an improvement. I can say they're not noticeably noisier or quieter than I remember my new factory tires being 4 years ago.

I don't notice the extra weight. I need to do some runs on them to confirm my seat of the pants feel.

I recently did a 1k round trip that I've done many times before. In the past, I've never cracked 14 mpg per the OBC. The OBC said I cracked 14 mpg this time, both there and back.

I also think they look a bit better than the factory tires. The bigger lugs look a bit more aggressive.

I'd read people have had issues balancing them. Three of the wheels have weights, but nothing out of the ordinary. A fourth wheel has two layers of weights, stacked in one spot. I think it is an install mistake, because the yellow dot (lowest weight marker) is not anywhere close to the valve stem. It was Discount Tire, and a very busy location, so maybe the junior guy mounted this one tire. DT gives lifetime balance, so some day when I have time, I might run by, point it out, and make them fix it.

I don't care about how much weight it takes to balance a tire. It's quite common that the one with the most weights has the lowest road force numbers.

Then I put the best one (all balanced to 0.00 of course) on the left front, the next best on the right front, and the one with the highest road force number on the right rear.

When rotating them I also rebalance them since they're off the pickup anyway.

Thanks for that review with a few miles behind your purchase. I'm having the same cupping issue with my GY Territory AT's. These are the 2nd set of OEM tires and probably have 25-35k on them (mid-2023 manufactured). They probably have 9/32 tread left on them too which is a bummer. But, they are getting loud. I've been torn between getting another set or going with Falken.

I'm not jazzed about the weight on the Falkens. But I do like the fact they are 3PMSF snow rated (the GY's are not). And I like the fact they have a warranty for 60,000 miles (the GY's have no warranty treadware warranty at all). Its great they are also Load Range D like the GY's which is why they ride nicer. Guys putting Load F tires on these and the Raptor are wild.... yikes.

Anyway - Does anyone else have some significant miles on their Falkens and want to share their thoughts?

not sure how many miles i have racked up with the Falkens but it gotta be at least 1K+ by now. I went hunting up in Ely, Nv labor day weekend so I have on-road miles and off-road miles. It's SO Quiet even with my truck loaded up with all my gear and my dog. comfortable ride as well. "allegedly" I may have averaged 100mph on the way back home on the last day due to a very open road for miles and a miles. in the dirt they were great. went to thru some sketch areas with two other cars and a very narrow tree lined unmaintained road (got some wicked scratches on my doors and bed that i had to get buffed out and the tires handled beautifully.

this is basically free advertisement for falkens which i don't get any kick backs from....very unfortunate. Literally the only down side which i don't even notice, not have i tested, is the weight of the tire. the pro columns outweighed the cons compared to the OEM Goodyear. probably a bad pros and cons list i added below but whatever

Bottom line, the warranty, road hazard protection, tread life, and tread depth beat out the goodyears in my decision making. the goodyear OEM had no warranty, no protection, nothing and didn't even have a tread life guarantee.

Welp, I went with Falkens. Let’s see how it goes. They are certainly smooth and quiet. But all tires are when new.

One thing though… they are the worst smelling tires I’ve ever bought. Yikes! It’ll knock a buzzard off a shit-wagon. Smells like a pig farm. Stunk up my whole garage. WTF kinda linglong chingchong stink rubber they use at Falken anyway? (Yes, I know it's the vulkanization sulfur additives..... but) Damn.
