Auto Transport by Stopwatch - Best Auto Transport Company For Your TRX

11 days..???
Weather conditions can change timing drastically.

Also, I'd imagine that is from when he made the request to delivery. For example, I made the request and the driver picked it up 3 days later, plus 5 days travel was 8 days total.

While this would upset me he has came on here and addressed why this happened. Doesn’t fix the miles and not saying you shouldn’t be upset, but what options are available right now?

Also, as far as denying warranty, it’s folklore. There’s a far difference between taking it racing from day one and off-roading racing it, versus a few hard pulls. If you have an issue they’d have to prove it’s from 27 miles of driving that didn’t adhere to “break-in” recommendation. And that’s recommended break in, not required. For instance, if they were going to deny warranty, their recommendation wouldn’t hold up in court. So I really wouldn’t worry about that side of things. This forum is full of shit in that regard.

Realize none of this fixes your situation but, you kind of have two options, let them deliver it or go pick it up. Either way, the miles are done.

Nope, I still have no clue why it happened and I don't think I ever will anymore. Other people who purchased from Chapman and shipped it across the country have chimed in reporting no additional mileage. Clearly, there's no good answer. I drew the driver short straw.

I think you summed up my options quite well. The only sensible one is to continue the course and hope Stopwatch does the right thing in the end. I can tell you that I'm uneasy AF if it's the same driver. The person had zero moral dilemmas after leaving the dealership, what's going to change?

Oh I thought I saw Jaron post on the last page explaining it?? Or was his explanation not satisfactory? And that is not meant to sound condescending in anyway even though it reads that way... I don't know the area so the reasoning could be complete BS. To be honest, if I hadn't shipped my truck already, your post would stop me in my tracks. It was 500-600 more to use stopwatch over others I have experience with but delivery time and the unknown along the way that was facing us, and their reputation of excellence on here is why I used them. Sucks for sure

My truck had 14 miles on it at Chapman. It had a top speed of 76 on vehicle history. I would assume that these miles were put on at the factory as testing miles. Probably on a dyno or a track or something to make sure it's gonna hold up. Truck is fine but WAY too difficult to keep under 55. I try though but the truck kinda gets away from me from time to time

It’s a terrible situation and if I don’t hear of a good outcome for you I won’t be using Stopwatch

At this point, it's only fair I share with members that I've had less than an ideal experience with Stopwatch. I'll come back here with a full report once the truck is in my possession, but I'll leave it at this....

The driver put 27 miles on my truck within the first hour of picking it up. My odometer went from 18 to 45

Sorry Ducc, this should not of happened, it is not what I would expect at all. Please keep us updated.

I got a call today that stopwatch will be picking mine up tomorrow from Chapman. I'm a little anxious after Ducc's review.

Hopefully your driver doesn’t take it for a joy ride! I feel bad for Ducc. That shit ain’t right

I appreciate all of the support fellas. 🍻

So, unfortunately, no updates today. Unless the Ram app is off (which you can see in the one screenshot it's showing 2/20), the truck appears to be sitting in the same spot it was on Friday, albeit with less gas. No word from Stopwatch either. I guess we'll see what tomorrow brings.

Edit: I really think we should discuss valet mode with the dealerships before the trucks take off. I know it's been a little glitchy, but I would much rather fight taking it out of valet once in my possession vs. potential abuse.

In all honesty, you'll probably be fine Bdub. Hopefully, my incident has Stopwatch on high alert this week. Just make sure you activate the Ram app with Reuben or someone else at Chapman before the driver picks up your truck. I would also recommend setting the speed alerts, so you don't have to stalk the app all day long. Hoping for the very best for you. (y)

Damn. I’d be pissed. Glad I drove.

Let us know how it goes! Mine should be getting picked up today or tomorrow.

My truck has been picked up and the great people at Chapman had my Ram app set up. It shows 16 miles and 418 miles to empty. I figured I will never see that miles to empty number again.🤣

418?!? I'm lucky if I ever see over 300.
