Auto Transport by Stopwatch - Best Auto Transport Company For Your TRX

I can see what you mean when looking at the picture but, at the end of the day, the experience with Jaron is better than any other that I spoke to. You’re not getting some transactional experience where you’re just a number with him.

My truck was picked up when he said, and actually delivered a day early. I’d use him again.

Recieved a quote from reliable carriers for granger to Las Vegas. Enclosed $3300. Someone on here used them for a similar mile route enclosed for $1300. Guess their price went up a "bit"

Has anyone used stopwatch recently? Looking to eventually have the truck shipped from PA to WI.

@Jaron@StopwatchUSA are all of your trailers like the one in the previous photo here, or do you use the double deckers as well?

I booked Stopwatch on 12/17 and I'm still waiting for truck to be picked up. I don't think it's their fault, I think there's just a shortage of truck drivers, but it still sucks to be waiting 3 weeks and still not have an ETA. If it doesn't get picked up by tomorrow, I might just fly to OH and drive the 1500 miles back.

Jaron's communication has been fine, but all these guys are just brokers and post these jobs on one big "marketplace" for any trucker to pickup. So they don't have control of who, when or what type of truck will be picking your vehicle.

I had to ship a '21 Limited from NY to KY and pickup my TRX and bring it back to NY. Couldn't find drivers on the boards...so we drove and did the deal in person. Glad I did...was a great experience.

I'm sure the holidays didn't help matter either. There is no way I would've waited 3 weeks and still have no vehicle. I would've either gotten another transport company or would've flown in myself. lol

I was debating on flying in and just doing the deal myself. I think its a better experience picking up at the dealer, but the 16 hour drive home will get boring lol.

@zaimer we have over 400 trucks on the road and we have a mix of everything including the double decker "stingers".

@Seeyalater we are in full force currently with drivers as they all came back early this week. However usually the total auto transport market is around 30,000 to 45,000 vehicles and right now it is up over 100,000 as of today available. When this happens it becomes a drivers market, and with so many vehicles available the drivers take the highest paid ones first to make the most money until the total amount of loads come back down.
Also I am not a broker who posts loads, I have my own drivers that are leased. As I do all the new Hyundai manufactured vehicles from the ports under contract, I would not be able to do this as a "broker" . But when the market price goes up I must follow or else why would my guys want to work for me.
I have created a post on this forum discussing how the holiday season would influence the market this next couple weeks explaining if people wanted to pay over quote price to help ship their vehicle faster during the increase in loads and the market that I would be able to make sure vehicles would be picked up.

A good example of this would be doordash lets say. When there is a lot of orders placed and they sit, doordash (me) increases the rates for people to want to pick them up faster. A doordasher (driver) can than pick which "loads" they will take. The doordasher (driver) is contracted to take orders with them but they are not required to. My drivers are allowed to build their own loads based on my pool of work and my dispatch team assists them in building a load and a route. However they are owner operators / independent contractors that are allowed to choose when to work , where they want to travel, and what vehicles they want. I do provide my drivers some of the highest pay in the industry, and other things that other companies don't offer to them so that I am able to get my work done faster than my competition as well as offer great service. I have rules/guidelines/contracts that they follow so they keep my reputation high as they do my work and incentivize them with wages etc.

I hope this helps,
Jaron
