Anyone doing better than 3.99% for financing right now

The Fed is due for another hike in Dec....although they may scale back their increases next year slim chances we will see rates come down for quite a long time. I think you'll be hard pressed to find anything under 4 right now and most will be at least 4.5....

I have 2.09 for 60 months from BofA in May.....that same loan is now 4.49.....

I called EECU in downtown Ft Worth on 10/24 and they stated with top scores they were at:

72 @ 5.34%
78 @ 5.44%
84 @ 5.49%

They go off the FICO 9 Experian auto score and 760 or higher gets those rates. 30 day rate lock.

My question is if you use a dealers finance and then want to refinance right away will the credit union still look at it as new rate wise? Its technically a refi so curious how that would affect the loan and how complicated it is after the fact.

I'm sure each credit union is different.
At mine, the posted rates for used and new are the same so wouldn't matter.

Have your dealer check with Stellantis FS as they seem to be the best from the dealership currently.

With that said, I’m a 825 credit score and my dealer matched my credit union rate of below 5% in mid Oct through Stellantis FS.

FS = Financial Services?

Went to a local credit union and got 3.9 after the dealership offered 7.3. hahaha I'm a credit score of 805

I’ve seen some who have the same rates for both new and used. Others I’ve seen state that if it’s been purchased new within 90 days it’s still considered “new” to them. Definitely varies per credit union.
