I PM'd VikTrx one day because he got 2 build sheets on like the same day and I wanted to know where he ordered from. Unsurprisingly, I received no response.

....so I actually purchased a set of running boards from him...turns out he had multiple orders (all base) that he flipped, I think he said to Carmax for a profit. He said that when Granger wouldn't let him order more - he ordered thru Koons. He had a set of TRX wheels posted for sale not that long ago (I think they were take off spares from the trucks he had already sold). He said he is doing the same thing with the new Gen 3 Raptors....He is a dealer of some sort... IDK what is legal/not legal with all that - on one hand I am glad I got my running boards - on the other hand....it doesn't seem very...fair - but then again, America....so idk. I do think it possibly impacts the market value of these trucks and of course the wait the rest of us enthusiasts have - so that sucks. not trying to start a fight - just wanting to provide some background info...

But… it is a bad look for Ram/fca/Stellantis and dealers when they can’t fill orders for regular clients.

It’s short sitedness if they look at it from the standpoint of “he is buying 12-20 trucks and the little guy is buying 1-2 vehicles each”

The problem is, that single guy buying 20 is pissing off 200-2000 buyers and making them not want to buy any more.

I’ve always wanted a challenger redeye (wide body) in maroon with tan leather interior. Wife was just about to order one for Christmas (we are in debt lol), no she got a big raise getting her bachelors and is about to get another from her masters.

But after this… nope. Not going to happen. We will buy something else that’s fun, maybe an m3 or who knows, but where the process isn’t as FU…

I ordered with Zack at Granger. They tell me it is scheduled for build on 1/31 so you're a few weeks ahead of me. I ordered a few other options such as spray in bedliner so it may delay me another week or two before it ships to Granger. Not sure if that works for you.

I think it's serious bullshit monopolizing the system like this, I mean a couple? Ok whatever but this guy's s bad as the graphics card debacle on eBay. Ffs save some for us little guys. Geez at 20 or more the guys gotta have like 2-400k profit

Just a quick update on an order getting cancelled. We have been contacted by Ram on about 15-20 of our orders. All of these orders have multiple orders from the same address. Ram asked for signed buyers orders, license, and proof of deposit on all these to determine that they were legitimate customer orders and ruling out foul play by us. Once that was completed, they made the decision to cancel a number of these in an effort to eliminate people buying to flip these trucks.

Amanda will be contacting anyone who's been cancelled. She's been out sick and hasn't had a chance to contact everyone yet. The $1000 deposit we've taken will be refunded. We have since changed our policy to not take Montana LLC orders, this is part of the reason why, because we could see this coming.

Ultimately we want to provide orders to enthusiasts who are keeping them and not people trying to make a quick buck. We can't always determine who that is, but we want to be an asset to the community of enthusiasts and this decision by Chrysler, while it may not be perfect, should help speed up the orders of enthusiasts by eliminating orders nationwide of TRX flippers. Although I realize that's not everyone who is affected by this decision.

Is Ram cancelling the more recent orders or the older ones? Do they seek your input prior to canceling?

2 days? I’ve done 1500 straight thru in 22 hours more than once. 1700 is only 2 1/2-3 more hours

Anything “Fun” will be the same. A buddy waited 17 months for his C8. And almost didn’t get it as his was one of the cars in storage when the Tornado went through BG in December. His is the white one. Luckily it was undamaged. Another buddy has been waiting on his Broncofor longer than me (July 23 for me). BMW and Porsche are backlogged as well
