my point was , you might already be in D1. Wait for Tom to post an update. I have a good feeling. Chapman has more orders in than zach ..so in theory they shouldve gotten more D1's this Saturday

I ordered from Chapman as well. And according to Ram Chat I am still needing parts to be scheduled. Honestly is getting very frustrating!

Honestly this is bull crap to say the least. I ordered on May 25th with 102 vin at 89k MSRP and still in D and I see people ordering months after with over 90k even 97k fully loaded trucks going into D1. Honestly I have never been more frustrated in a car buying experience as this. I know the truck is a beast and some say worth the wait but the frustration is building up to the point where I want to cancel my order and never ever give RAM my business again. If there was some rhyme or reason to these orders I would not be upset but how does a fully loaded order months after my order go into D1 from the same dealer than my order. I understand this is out of your control Zach but those customers of yours like me who where first to order and give you the business even when pricing was not out on MY22 models and blindly ordered the trucks should get some sort of answers from your rep at RAM. Again this is no reflection or directed towards Zach as he has done a lot but I am sure there are others like me that would appreciate some pressure or something done to help us out.

I have been watching those because I am considering ordering one, but I will admit not as closely. I haven’t see them having the same level issue with RAM fulfilling so out of order. How can it get any worse than people that ordered weeks ago going D1 before someone back in May with the same exact build? I can get on board with Level 1 trucks getting build sooner because RAM can get more of those out the door and pay their bills. But I literally saw a guy with my exact build get his truck in 6 weeks. I know this is first world problem but god damn its frustrating.

Same basic issues here but IMO amplified. We ordered the day banks opened june 10 for a 21 allocation, heard nothing for months, no vin no movement whatsoever. dealer called and said its getting pushed to a 22. then dealer called 2 weeks later to say its being put on hold due to commodity issues and could possibly be a 23 order. all the while people are getting dealer stocks orders in. Because ford is giving such a low number of allocations it is forcing the adm out of this world. Dealer i had an order with only had 2 allocations and 1 could have the 37 package. he didnt get either of his allocations for 21.

Well said this is getting a little outrageous. About to say screw the deposit and order another truck and have it go into D1 a week later. My damn trade is racking up miles and its losing value everyday.... counting on my trade to make this sale work..

Wow - my very recent order is already in D1 but without a shipping date. I assumed I would not receive my truck for approx 6 months so I put down a deposit on an in stock unit at MSRP and was planning to go pick it up next week. Now I don’t know how I should proceed. Any thoughts? When should I anticipate receiving this ordered unit? Feel bad cancelling the deal I’ve made on the in stock unit so want to make sure I cancel only if I need to given the timeline.

You got like 2 months. More if you have stuff like bed utility, nerf bars, etc. But at the most I say 4 months.

After you go D1 it’s usually built in about 2 weeks after that. Expect mid December.

No, I ordered plain Jane. No extra adds, not even decals. I like to do all that stuff myself.

I am in the same boat with the same exact thing as you. May order, 102 VIN, and an 89K MSRP.
This is starting to get frustrating to say the least...
