I have a friend that ordered a new Silverado in early March ... he never has received it . I just tried to order a 1.5 eco-boost engine for a customer .. remember that’s a current engine...
Ford said no availability... That family is screwed ... they now have lawn art . So with RAM it appears to me to the only automaker attempting to build trucks. I have a feeling lots of GM and Ford owners are ordering from Ram right now. In my opinion Ram is doing their best at giving us a chance yo own a new vehicle. I understand everyone’s frustration but we are all victims of a crappy time .
So hop in what you are driving and put on a smile on, its life . You all wanna see what I have driven since 1987? It might make everyone feel pretty good! . Sorry for the rant ...

Eventually orders will stop for 22 model year and flip to the 23 model year by next May/June. I wonder if they will still pick up year old VINs

i do have another theory. RAM assigns assembly lines for every truck. like 100 or 1000 trucks per line (random guess) and once a line fills up they start again. That's how i'm explaining my bare bone truck got skipped but 1 digit higher VIN loaded truck got in D1. I'm probably last in line at my assigned assembly line and the loaded truck 1 digit higher VIN is 1st in line at his assembly line.

I have been watching those because I am considering ordering one, but I will admit not as closely. I haven’t see them having the same level issue with RAM fulfilling so out of order. How can it get any worse than people that ordered weeks ago going D1 before someone back in May with the same exact build? I can get on board with Level 1 trucks getting build sooner because RAM can get more of those out the door and pay their bills. But I literally saw a guy with my exact build get his truck in 6 weeks. I know this is first world problem but god damn its frustrating.

It would be funny if your and mine were on the same truck. My est. date is 15th through the 29th, which kind lines out with you ship dates.

Mine is anytime from now to the 22nd.
