24 Raptor R = 720 HP

I am very satisfied with my 22 TRX but I will never buy another Ram with less power. As far FORD I will never buy one no matter what. I already have a very bad experience with 22 gen 3.
or a smaller displacement engine??

‘24 will most likely be the last year for the Raptor R, IMO, as they’ve now claimed most powerful half ton ICE with no remaining competition.

Still love the TRX. They are all slow... really. Fast for a truck, but slow. If I want to go fast, Demon 170 has my back. Lol

I wonder if the math for ram on stage kits for a trx just does not make sense and that’s why they don’t do them? Seems they could basically do what granger is doing at volume and make some money…. But maybe not

And really it's slow after you drive a 2200hp viper. My buddy has the 170 and I have the viper. The demon is cool for a factory car.
But he was lucky and got it at MSRP because he is a friend of the owner of the dealership. The 170 is NOT worth what people are paying for them.

F it… let Stellantis go EV and small displacement turbos. Selfishly, I am glad I got mine… V8 supercharged engine… and don’t plan on selling it ever!!!
Correcto..........It would be easy to bump the the TRX to over 800hp if one wanted to. The 702 is more than enough for the street and or offroad IMO I will not be selling either

According to ChatGPT:

Ultimately, whether AWD or 4x4 is "better" depends on your specific needs and the conditions in which you'll be driving. For most everyday driving situations, AWD provides sufficient traction and stability. However, if you plan to venture off-road frequently or live in an area with severe winter conditions, a 4x4 system might be more suitable.

I will take an AWD TRX over ANY Raptor variant.

I agree. I couldn’t be more happier with my TRX. It’s something that as I’m walking away I turn around and look back at.

I had an amazing Gen1 2011 Raptor, if not for that truck, our TRXs would not exist. But man, that rear end in bad weather would get loose on you if you didn't know how to handle it. I also owned a 2002 Lightning, so I am familiar with these trucks. Because the TRX is AWD, its a better vehicle for a daily driver in all conditions.

I really love the TRX, first had a '22 and now a '23...However, I would still be driving Raptors if Ford didn't F' up and discontinue the Raptor SuperCab.
Man, a SuperCab Raptor R would be a hoot!! A foot shorter wheelbase and a few hundred pounds lighter...

Just wanted to help you out here... if you put the ' AFTER the number it represents feet (units of measure, length), in order to abbreviate a year you put the ' BEFORE the number. 🍻

The Raptor has "4 Auto" if you want AWD.
But that requires doing something. My gen1 yeah, it could be AWD up to 100 I believe, but you lost a lot in turning. Not sure about Gen2/3s since I never owned one. Obviously, I am comparing a Gen1 Raptor vs a 2023 TRX. We all know thats not fair, but thats all I got.

Being awd was one of my complaints when I first saw the truck as a concept. But the way all 4 are clawing for traction when you hit the go pedal makes me happy that it isn't 2wd. I'm more at ease when the wife uses it too, she gets worse mileage than me lol. It's plenty of fun without the back end swimming around. I wouldn't have it any other way.

no it doesn't..... you could have it in AWD from the moment you buy the truck....
I am all for giving brands shit back and forth, but not really picking up on this one.

100%. Same situation.

Duh...I know that! Just took a break from reviewing 15 pages of construction documents for errors on my new home prior to city submittal tomorrow and a little brain fried!

No Ford ever again..Bought a 2000 Excursion limited new...Bad ass massive suv...Really loved it up until 25k miles...then it was like I was drunk after the prom, rolled over at 7am, bed is wet....im sticky and confused, suddenly it was the worst decision Ive ever made. Massive POS with even worse service. Built Ford tough my ass...carted my 3 kids around...maybe a mall speed bump or 2, and some light boat and sled towing. Nothing major...thing sucked...so many problems.
