Read the original post again. Slower is a higher time, which is what we don't want.Well, you wrote "slower times" but meant "lower times". That's confusing enough, especially since "slower" would normally be speed related, not time.

"Slower is a higher time" you say. Okay, if we disregard that slow goes with speed, not time, it should at least be "longer time".I have always known manufacturer posted times to be slower than actual which would be amazing!![]()
You got it!"Slower is a higher time" you say. Okay, if we disregard that slow goes with speed, not time, it should at least be "longer time".
There's fast as in speed, and quick as in time. I'm easily confused as it is, but a (mild) word salad doesn't exactly help me understand.
You got it!Now let's some better/quicker/faster speeds than the lame 118 mph.

.2 difference in 1/4 mile, that’s driver error. They mentioned the used TRX had bigger tires too… to me the speed of the new and old are the same.
Haven’t watched the video yet, did they say what size tires? Assume 37’s but could be the metric 36 inch size a few members on here use. Regardless that does change the comparison. Like you said they are more than likely the same if using the same size tires..2 difference in 1/4 mile, that’s driver error. They mentioned the used TRX had bigger tires too… to me the speed of the new and old are the same.
Upper pulley looks to be the stock clutched unit. No green belt or anything else obvious to suggest the lower has a sleeve or something either, but can’t know for sure based on what little we see underhood. Here is a capture of the tire that the old TRX is on: Sailun Terramax RT in 37x12.50R18LT

Pretty nuts that the old one was neck and neck with the new one considering it was on 37's. Curious if the truck was modified. You would think that the first thing to go IF this truck was modified would be the airbox, but who knows, maybe theres a smaller pulley in there. Even then, it's still hard to believe that a smaller pulley+37's is still neck and neck with a 27 TRX
Exactly, I have no idea why these guys are so popular, they often get things wrong, are annoying, and boring. Why TF would they do this comparison with the older TRX on 37's? Might as well delete that shit and start over with a stock-to-stock comparison.
yeah but my dad knows karate and could kick your dads buttThis entire thread along with basically every other thread comparing the Gen 1 to New Gen is basically a bunch of grown ass men arguing that their dad is stronger than someone else’s dad.

Isn’t that what performance is all about? This entire thread along with basically every other thread comparing the Gen 1 to New Gen is basically a bunch of grown ass men arguing that their dad is stronger than someone else’s dad.
I am bummed the new one isn’t materially faster. And is not comfortably faster than the Raptor R.
