Put 37s on both and see what happens.I am bummed the new one isn’t materially faster.

More than likely slower than the Raptor R...I am bummed the new one isn’t materially faster. And is not comfortably faster than the Raptor R.
Yep if speed is your concern you can buy a direct connection TRX upgrade for 11k and another 3-5k dealer install and still be cheaper than a raptor R while maintaining factory warranty. This isn’t even including dealer markups of 25k on a raptor R that’s pretty standard. Some by my are marking them up 40k.More than likely slower than the Raptor R...
You are correct only thing is we are not sure if DC will be available for previous gen TRXS yet. They say RBs only as of now.Yep if speed is your concern you can buy a direct connection TRX upgrade for 11k and another 3-5k dealer install and still be cheaper than a raptor R while maintaining factory warranty. So add the DC upgrade and maintain all the luxury features ram has over the Raptor r- significantly better interior, self driving, massage seats. Add the fact that it sounds better from the SC and the exhaust and you got an unbeatable deal.
The original TRX is a 3.9s at best @ sea level.I am waiting to see what kind of 0-60 times we will see in the cooler months. From what I have seen, they are a full second slower than the claims lol. Nothing a lil more power wont fix for sure. I just hope build quality is better. I can fix it being slower.
Milesperhr YouTuber already got 4.1s in his review unit that was very heat soaked after being on all day long for back to back to back reviews.I am waiting to see what kind of 0-60 times we will see in the cooler months. Those of us with fast trucks ran out of warranty a while back.most previous gen TRXs are going to be out of warranty soon anyways
Thats my point too, if some of us with tuned trucks got the ALL NEW mighty "777"Those of us with fast trucks ran out of warranty a while back.
That is still the elephant in the room, that new electrical/ethernet bus system has not been fixed yet on the current Rams. We're still seeing tons of complaints all over the internet. I mean you can be hopeful that they've got the issues fixed in the TRX but I wouldn't be surprised if they don't.Thats my point too, if some of us with tuned trucks got the ALL NEW mighty "777", we would be bored with it in the first week. I would probably ruin the warranty in the first year and who knows what kind of issues new trucks will have these days.
The issues seem to be loose wiring and bad batteries for the most part. That is still the elephant in the room, that new electrical/ethernet bus system has not been fixed yet on the current Rams. I bet in a real world the new TRX will be a 3.7-3.8s at best
