HOT! 2027 RAM TRX is Back as the Fastest and Most Powerful Production Gas Pickup Truck in the World

What is the % possibility of the ‘27 SRT TRX orders opening up on 4/1? If not then, what date does anyone think orders will open?

21.34%

Logically, if production is to start on 8/3, as we have been shown on actual company documents, then you would assume they would want/need a few months to get component orders in and flowing. That said, they could push production - it has been done before.

I would hope, at the very least, order guides come out by 4/1 so folks can get all the bitching out of their system and their builds ready to submit. The latest the bank would open, I would assume, is late May.

Lots of assuming going on, however.

I’ve won some big hands on 21.34% 🤠🙌

Is it true that these will be allocation only?

As in limited # per dealer?

I had not heard anything about this, but a dealership has told me they learned this was the case.

Any truth to it?

I just saw an interview on Youtube with someone at Mark Dodge who stated that its conplicated but looks to be allocated at the start and will be based off 1500 sales from jan-march or something like that. He did explain that his feeling was this is how it would start initially, then go to sold orders in the future. If this is the case we may not see the good discounts for a little while but hopefully its not too long.

Ram may want to make sure all dealers see one or two - then open it up for sold orders. I don't think that transition will take all that long, if in fact that's how it's done.

Retarded.

Why do this all the sudden. Were TRX's ever allocated? They're not Ferraris.

Why allocate?

Thank you for sharing though.

They were winding down at that point. Much less production. Tim K indicated, perhaps I interpreted it, that production wouldn't be limited for 2027.

The 2024 allocation made total sense. This does not. I guess we'll wait and see. My dealer is stating it like it's a fact so we will see.

Yeah, I can't see the 2027's being allocated. Most dealers don't know shit, so I'd take that comment with a grain of salt.

Agree….who knows what happens politically in 2028. CARB/EPA could be back and out to screw us all over again. Stellantis would be wise to just mass produce these trucks as soon as possible and get em into everyones hands that wants one without the Raptor R games of allocations and market adjustments.

Which dealer is this and what facts do they have to back it up? Is this a salesperson or the GM/or owner with direct info?

If Mark Dodge has not stated this as fact...not sure how anyone else would know. They are the largest volume Ram dealer in the world. @AnthonyRI may have some up to date information.

My deposit that I put down was returned back to me. Not a good sign as I take that as we are not honoring that massive discount to MSRP we said we would.

Why return the money, I am fine if they held the deposit until January as long as I get that good price.

Pump out the trucks why they can, ram needs to move units. Obviously none of us know the answers but why undercut the raptor r and then make it allocation only? IF they can be had at a discount they could get a lot of raptor customers, a gen3 37 package is low to mid 90’s. If a trx is available that gives them a shot at both potential r customers that are sick of the allocation markup nonsense and customers who are considered a gen3 37 package but for the same money can get a supercharged V-8. But I guess we’ll find out. It is weird RAM came out strong then its been all silence since the reveal.
