2024 RAM 1500 TRX Final Edition

New paint and a digital dash cluster are not enough to make me move. I like the Delmonico paint, but at $135k, it's a hard pass. I just reviewed my '21 and '22 window stickers. Stellantis leads the charge on absurd base price hikes: My '21 was $70,325 base, my '22 was $75,680 base, and the '24 is $96,340 base. That's a 37% hike in three years. It's good to be Stillantis.

Debatable

37% hike and their cars are not moving.

Im willing to bet it does not cost them 37% more to make these vehicles.

So, this was intentional but why?
Shitty 2024 plan and figured the Hellcats and 300s etc can float a dealer for a year?
Or did they really think they could make a 70k TRX (and what Sergio wanted an 80k transaction truck) a 120k transaction truck and think people would still eat it up?

TRX was bad ass in the 70-80k range.
But this truck now stickers where the Demon 170 does. Thats greed and stupidity.

The market value is whatever people are willing to pay. If Stellantis has a sufficient number of customers who are willing to pay $125k, then they should price the TRX at $125k. It sucks for people who can’t afford it, and maybe they could make and sell more of them at a lower price point - I can only assume they are doing some basic microeconomic math to maximize their profits. They would be screwing their shareholders if they didn’t.

Now if you tell me they are inflating profits on TRX due to government meddling into the equation by requiring fleet average economy standards that makes their other models sell like slippery turds, then my beef would be with the government intervention - not with Stellantis.

I tend to agree with this. I get the feeling that Stellantis was seeing huge dealer markups on these vehicles, and people were buying them, so they thought, why don't we get that profit instead of the dealers. As with almost everything in life - especially fun trucks like the TRX - it is worth what people are willing to pay for it.

This mindset is why we can't all have nice things!

Having some work done on my TRX and just saw the price of a FE 2024 Ram at my local dealer in Colorado Springs. They are asking 145k! Yikes! that is quite a bit over sticker. Are people paying that for the FE's?
Colorado dealers are dumb! I haven't bought a single car/truck in Colorado yet and lived here since 2012. My first car purchase while living here was from Iowa. I drove there one weekend, got the car and drove it back, $7000 cheaper than any dealer in the Denver area would offer (2018 Honda CRV loaded). I'm getting my 3rd TRX (a FE) from Arizona this weekend. Got MSRP minus $5100 for it and good deal on my trade in 2022 TRX. Had a 2021 TRX before the 2022. The 2021 had a clunk in the transmission they got rid of with reprogramming but it came back the same day. I didn't trust it. The 2022 didn't have adaptive cruise control and I miss that driving on the interstate. Didn't realize until I found this forum today that I could have had it added on? Too late, already did the deal with the devil for $120,000.

Also there is currently a dealer in Nevada that has Final Edition marked down $8000 I believe if anyone is looking. I had already closed the deal before they got back to me. Sahara CDJR.

Like California, Colorado is an expensive state to do business in.

Granger Motors! Always and Forever. Best experience for sure, and trip back home is the most!

Wish I could get a more up to date TRX, but just can't justify spending another 30 - 40k on a vehicle that would basically be the same. Besides, I'm saving up for a C8 corvette to park along side the beast.

For less than 1/10 of the price difference you can upgrade to the digital dash and have 95% of the new TRX experience. Just food for thought.

At my local dealership right now for service (near Nashville). These kooks have a Night Edge Blue for sale with a $21k ADM.
And the passenger side door has a dent in it lol

Yeah, as others have said, very low mile TRXs can now be had in the high $70ks to mid $80ks. I can't see paying $125k+ or any ADM at all for a new one. The digital gauges are a downgrade IMHO.

You can’t imagine what a beast that C8! You won’t regret it. C8 Z06 or regular??

my 2022 was $98000. The $22,000 upgrade was a bit hard to swallow. I already have a C7Z but the C8 would be nice (out of my budget now with the new FE TRX!). I like your plan!

Call me a sucker, but I'm thinking hard about trading in my 22' for a 24'. I recently passed on a 24' Raptor R because I like the TRX so much, so it got me wanting to get into the last available year. Ideally I'd like to find a used 23' Lunar, but that just won't happen. So I'm going to test the waters on a 24' FE. If I can wait a few months, I may find one used.

There's something about knowing TRX's won't be available in 2-3 years but Raptor R's (probably) will be, that made me want to get into another TRX while they are still fresh.

So I guess I'm one of the guys willing to pay for some gauges and badges 🤣

Here are the differences I got on my new 24 FE from my 22: Digital Dash, Adaptive Cruise Control, Trailer steering, MOPAR running boards, the deployable kick step thing, sprayed in bedliner, and tie down rail system (also 19500 less miles). Was this worth the extra $22,000 (brain - not really; heart - HELL YES!).

After I was waiting to take delivery, I found a dealer in North Dakota offering FE for $9000 off MRSP and they had 2 maybe 3 available!! And possible Sahara CDJR in Nevada still has one marked down $8000.
UPDATE: found the ND dealer on google search. It was EIDE CDJR but they must have sold them because now they only have 1 and it's only $2500 off and its not one of the "limited edition" colors which they had before :-(

Awesome, I'll take a look-thanks!

Seems like the main colors left are the 3 24' colors, while I'd kinda prefer black. I'm trying to talk myself into the Harvest Sunrise, but I don't typically love the 'louder' colors.

The one left at EIDE is Black! I know they had a Night Edge and I think a Red Delmonico (or Harvest) and I believe both were about $9000 under MSRP. Probably why they are gone now.
