2023 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170: A Wicked Quick, 1,025-HP Hell Yeah!

If they can pull of this prioritization of customer sold orders being built first, especially those who on the proposed acknowledgement form who paid sticker, that will be a huge step in the right direction. I'm hoping that is the case!

From what I’m seeing, that will only be the first 10 cars.

I can only imagine the dealer isn’t going to disclose any markup to them at all! So as far as they know they are all sold at MSRP!

. . .Bluebonnet Dodge Ram - New Bruanfels, TX
Bluebonnet had 7 allocations...all spoken for at $100k over MSRP.
San Antonio CDJR had 9 allocations...all spoken for atb$100k over MSRP.
Boerne CDJR had 2 allocations.
Ancira CDJR had 8 allocations.
Steele North Star had 4 allocations.
San Marcos - 3 allocations.
Ingraham Park - 6 allocations.

No dealership in the San Antonio area received 11 allocations. I called ALL of them and all of the allocations are spoken for.
Who will have access to buy this?? Jay Leno? Bill Goldberg and that is about it.
Goldberg bought his TRX from Boerne CDJR and I'm pretty sure he got one of the allocations from them. I bought my TRX there and met Goldberg on the day I bought mine. He's a really nice guy.

Sorry just saw this now. As many others have said, I called around and only found 100k over MSRP deals. It's not worth that to me, but I do want it bad. I would even be a player at 25, but 100? No thanks.
I wish Dodge would have given vouchers or something to Demon owners, or at least did what Chrysler did with their 2000 300c's, you ordered them through the concierge and could select any dealer you wanted, zero mark up. I have one of those ordered and it was painless. What Dodge is doing is ridiculous.
Yep. It sucks. They should have given demon owners a first crack at it. Tho their communication and process is way better then GM with the Z06 but wish they did a little more for pricing for existing owners.

. . .Bluebonnet did have allocations available when I went there early last week and spoke to the GM.

I found 2 at MSRP, I got one for myself and the other sold at the same time. So looks like I'll be letting go of my Redeye which is getting built as we speak at Brampton. And hopefully find options for the Demon 170 this week to see how it's going to run

Dealer waits till this morning to tell me they are returning my deposit and taking my allocation when I'm thinking I'm about to place an order. So pissed this the 3rd time I've tried to order a Demon since 2018 and every time I was F'd over by a dealer in the 9th inning when I was supposed to place the order.

Lost mine too, got all excited because the SM told me since the other guy was an out of towner, they'd sell it to me as I'm a previous customer and not a 1 and done but the owner didn't get back until Sun night from the conference and this morning told the SM that he was keeping it. Fun stuff.

I was worried this may happen - sucks!

I got a follow up call today and the rep wanted to know if I wanted to bargain at $100k over list 😂 can’t make this stuff up. At least they did follow up….

if RAM could just offer " Those that want a Demon 170, can have a Demon 170...We just need you to wire the ~$102K within 48 hours."
I would buy a JEEP Grand Wagoneer as my next SUV as a Thank you for giving me something that I can admire and pass on to my kids...grandkids and also give another big FU to Greenpeace, Greeta, Sierra Club, CA, NY, IL, FJB, Camela, etc...

yup they are nothing but whores, my friend got told "oh sorry its now 100K over you want it or not " after he was told 5K over they need to get on this bullshit

Supply and demand, getting one at MSRP is like winning the lottery unless you know a good friend that works in the business. Glad the TRX wasn't like this or I probably would have skipped getting it.

I was worried this was gonna happen when I bought my TRX. They wanted a deposit but they could revoke.

I said, "I'll wire you the full purchase price now in exchange for firm sale paperwork that can't be revoked" and they agreed. I wired them $90K the next day after we signed the paperwork. I didn't even care about the lost interest - I wanted the truck and no games. I would have sued them (the benefits of being an attorney) if they played games lol.

Pulaski, WI dealership.

In Canada it is still like this for a trx. Havocs are way over priced by 20-40k

A friend of mine just got kicked to the curb by a dealer on a Z06. They had both agreed to 25k over MSRP and he had a deposit for months. Car showed up and they gave him the runaround for weeks about the owner might buy it and then finally said theyd sell it for 50k over. When he called out that they had a written agreement they just returned the deposit and sold the car for 50k over from underneath him.

These manufacturers like to play the well they are independent dealers and we can't control them card and absolve themselves of responsibility. but these dealers are ruining the brands reputations for years to come and the brand doesn't get a free pass for standing by as their end customers are getting abused by predatory dealers.

Dealers are colluding . After las vegas there's no dealer asking for less than 100k ADM
Spoke to 3 today and two were bidding with low bids at 165k over. Other had 4 allocations at $50k over each that are called for and are being honored at least.

All this market adjustment or selling over MSRP is garbage! I hope dealers go out of business for having other vehicles on their lots and not being able to move them! It’s getting crazy that they aren’t willing to do anything below msrp and rather have the vehicles just rot on their lots!

Yeah these dealers are a trip. So I'm going to call them out on it. I got time stamps and deposit slip.
