HOT! 2022 Ram TRX Sell Down & 2023 Ram TRX Plans at Granger Motors

Obviously not as a whole, but do you give a shit what a dealer makes or is it more important what you’re saving. Realistically for most people this is a minimum 10k savings over most other dipshit dealers. Could it be going better, I’m sure it could, but is it worth fucking it up for future customers?
These issues aren’t mutually exclusive. They can be a standup dealer and deliver a perfect truck and still get good reviews and sell at discounts.

That’s true, but more volume = more of a chance of issues.

The survey is asking specific questions and if doesn’t reflect reality or the truth then why put a perfect score? Because the dealer is giving a discount or selling at msrp? If it’s asking about the condition of the paint and it’s scratched why they hell would someone put it was perfect condition? If there are questions about the process, them getting back to you in a timely manner, would answer all your questions absolutely they received an excellent score. People that travel way over there pick it up and have to drive it back are excited to FINALLY have it and or due to weather conditions ( super windy and cold when I went) just do a quick over view and wanna start driving back and get home. I received the survey a week before picking up the truck so I waited until I got home and could really over look things. Like someone stated before there were scratches on the hood like a dirty rag or maybe a belt buckle scratched while cleaning. They all have the highest score from me but when it came to the paint questions I put the truth.

Lying on the survey doesn't make your truck not eligible for a warranty repair. Ram knows the these problems are an issue, they have been sending memo's to the plant workers to be more careful. They know from all the repairs happening under warranty that they have quality issues and they don't care because the management at the plant just want numbers out the door so they can get their profit sharing bonus that paid them 15k just a couple months ago. If people have to drive hundreds of miles to take advantage of the Granger offer, they obviously offered something that no other dealer is willing to.

But hey, if people don't want to help out the handful of dealers in the country that saves customers thousands of dollars by checking 1 box on a survey... I hope people don't come on the forum in the future crying that no dealers are selling under MSRP and they have to pay thousands over MSRP. It was just last year someone messed up the deal we had on here saving thousands on the extended warranty, now it's gone because someone was being irrational, and I hope the same doesn't happen here

This is exactly what I’m trying to convey. The old sayin “don’t bite the hand that feeds you” applies here!

@Zach@Granger

I know you guys have until the end of the month.... I was one of your customers who never received a survey (picked up in May)....I spoke with Britney and she said she submitted a request to support to see if there was anything they could do to resend the survey. I searched my inbox and my junk mail for a multitude of phrases and subjects and from addresses (per Britney) and didn't pull up anything other than the Ram Connect survey......I would love to help and I appreciate what you guys are doing.

Why punish the dealer for something we all know they didn’t do? I had indentation scratches on my rear passenger fender flare. I know it wasn’t the dealer, it was either there when it was built or got there during transit.

Ram holding back dealer eligible incentives on the back end for a dealer like Granger who probably swayed a lot of potential raptor buyers to swing into a TRX with the discount, they should be paid a high holdback plus the kicker incentives for pushing a ton of volume through.

Just so we are all clear......

So you want your customers paying $90+K or thereabouts for a limited production truck and who have waited 3-6 months or even longer to potentially lie on customer satisfaction surveys? WTF. IMO that is complete BS.

Not everyone here bought the limited production TRX’s, most of us just bought regular run of the mill can buy as many as you want TRX’s. To pay 90k+ you’d have to get well over 100k msrp, guess you’d have to check every option. In December you could get a well equipped level 2, carbon fiber, bead locks etc for low 80’s. Mine was 91k msrp but went up to 96k msrp while being built but I was price protected plus paying under msrp anyway.

Like I said. They knocked it out of the park with customer service , deal, price, price protection. They got outstanding remarks Zach and everyone there at the dealer was bad ass and no hassle LOVED THE TOTAL experience. When I was filling out the survey doesn’t really ask who fault you think it is. It was asking how was the paint and I responded accordingly to how I received the truck. Survey is a survey for a reason and I answered truthfully and accordingly.

Greetings everyone! I hope this note finds you well.

1 - I wanted to give a quick update. We need the help of the people who purchased from us in order to keep this deal going moving forward. Stellantis has made a HUGE push on customer satisfaction and we are required to get a 980/1000 score average on our survey results. For us, that is very dependent upon our TRX deliveries. We've been have some issues getting to that result with the TRX coming in with light scratches on the plastic fender flares. These fender flares are backordered so we cannot deliver the truck in perfect condition within the 3 week timeframe and keep price protection intact. We absolutely will make the vehicle right and I believe our customers here can vouch for us in saying, that we have stepped up and made the outstanding issues right. Here is the question that we keep failing. We HAVE to have this question answered "None of the avove, my vehicle was delivered to me in perfect condition" if we don't our score drops to an 840 if everything else is perfect.

If we can't get this score up, we'll be forced to either cut our discount or go away from offering the discount completely. We want to make sure your experience is great and in my opinion, holding up your truck on backordered parts isn't the way to do that. So if you have recently or are going to take delivery of the truck in the short term I'd ask you'd give us a 1000 score on the survey, the biggest piece for us is this condition of the vehicle question.

2 - 2022 Sell Down - I've been informed again, that the production of the 2022 TRX will run through the end of this month. Since production has been delayed 1 month for the switch to 2023, we wanted to keep everyone informed of the changes.

3 - Changes for Sales Satisfaction - For 2023 we are going to be making some continued changes in the efforts of increased customer satisfaction. We have changed to 1 primary person to Perform the pre-delivery inspection, gas the vehicle (5 miles away to get premium), check for outstanding recalls, inspect, clean and buff the vehicle, etc. This change should lead to better consistency on the pre-delivery process.

As long as we can get the survey results we need, we will continue to offer a great deal on the 2023 Ram TRX trucks. They have adjusted our margins on some vehicles moving model years, so until we receive pricing, we can't be certain on what exactly the offer will be. But the survey results are the key to keeping this rocking and rolling.

Thank you guys!

Zach
Zach,

You should do a questioner to potential buyers before agreeing to sell them a TRX. If they will not be happy with a free $125+ tank of gas in exchange for 10 miles...DO NOT SELL TO THEM! If they will not be happy with scratched fenders from RAM with a promise to fix the fenders when available...DO NOT SELL TO THEM! If they won't give you a perfect score over some ticky tack BS...DO NOT SELL TO THEM.

Seriously, these type of people will screw everyone else out of a good deal and a fair and open process. Some people will never be happy and you should sort them out and punt them to the curb.

Cheers to you guys, and when I'm ready to trade in my 2021 TRX for a 2023, it will be through you with a perfect score.

Thanks!!!

It’s not that simple. I think Granger is the only one that requires a non-refundable deposit. So if your truck shows up fucked up you walk away from more than just the truck. They agreed to cover the cost of fixing mine and so far they have made good on that, but not other stuff down the road that I didn’t get in writing like the hood alignment. It’s a factory issue and lots of guys are getting the same crooked hood. It’s something that should be fixed during the PDI. I have to create a ticket through Ram to get it fixed. I imagine it’s more than just a couple of surveys and maybe whomever is selling the truck when you sign the paperwork should explain this. It was the smoothest fastest buying experience for me but no one talked about the survey or anything like that. It was sign sign; here’s how the temp registry works enjoy your truck. The other dealerships on here actually offer bigger discounts and aren’t having the same issues to the same degree. I don’t think it’s a customer issue like you suggested

Others require a non-refundable deposit.

Granger also doesn't pad their profit with $1,000 dealer fee or filling out a credit app if you're not financing with them.

My truck has been scheduled to be built since May 26 and still nothing is there anybody out there that could give me any information dealership date keeps changing now says July 14 and the website doesn’t even have it built I find it hard to believe that nobody can get information not even the dealer on what’s going on

My TRX fully loaded was ordered in mid of April.
It was moved to D1 last month but my dealership notified that it moved to D from D1.

My charger jailbreak order also dropped.

Anybody know if order status changes from D1 to D again. It is the sign order will be dropped for TRX build.

Who let these Karens into the forum?? 🙄

And now some of them have surveys... so of course we are all going to hear how they feel they were wronged in some way.

(You can tell these guys want to "talk to the manager" so bad 😂smh)

Never fails, there will always be a slim few self absorbed people fucking things up for everyone else.

@Zach@Granger

Had not seen it mentioned anywhere but when can we get more information on 2023 offers and when we can place an order for 2023.

Thanks.
you should receive an email in 3 days, 10 days and I believe 27 days after delivery. If it was in May, its too late to fill out the survey now.

We'll release final 2023 information once the order banks open up.

Is it just me that doesn’t buy this story ?
To begin with. The discount you can offer no matter what. The invoice price does not change between you and another dealer. It is a set price. All dealers pay the same sticker price.
The small difference comes in tiny incentives that are related to the timeframe the vehicle sits in stock. But since this is a customer order. That incentive is the same amount all dealers.
This sounds like you guys want a better score on a survey for the BONUS dealers get for being top in customer service. That’s all. And that is not related to the car price.
In fact. You coming here. Asking your customers to lie for you or you will not give them a discount - is something that makes me never buy or recommend about you.
We as they consumers. Or to be exact. We. The people. Will not let corporates dictate us something. There are 10 other dealers here that offers your price or lower. And will never ask us to lie on the survey so they can make another penny.
You gave a car with scratches ? You will get a survey say the car had scratches on it. You have a problem with it ? Make sure your transportation is better and the vehicles stays in their wrap from the factory. Ask the factory to cover parts that scratches. The consumer shouldn’t worry of why it happens. The consumer shouldn’t even have it happened to begin with.
You’re now on my “not to do business with” - business.

Finally someone with common sense and more than 1/2 of a brain. I couldn't agree more, Ari. Asking people to lie on a survey for the benefit of the dealer (and frame it as a benefit to the consumer) is typical car dealership BS. Why can't people on here see through the deception? And all the whining about losing the truck deal of the century is short-sighted and ignorant. What's happened to people standing up for ethical business practices?

You are certainly entitled to your opinion. We ultimately are trying to deliver a great deal to our customers and the transportation to us doesn't allow us to do it properly. Between backordered parts and transportation damage it is an impossibility to deliver the car within the timeframe to insure the customers price protection and deliver a vehicle in perfect condition. They do offer a bonus, but there is also a penalty that we faced last month because our survey scores weren't high enough.

I understand you can take your business anywhere and we don't have a corner on the TRX market, we want people to purchase from us and do our best to make things right.
