Is all it is a code change? I searched online for what was actually different but came up with no definitive answer, just all the buzz words like “more stringent” “stricter”.
Is it a tune that makes less power?? I’ve never had to deal with this until my state adopted it

You must have been gone awhile it keeps going up... I just paid my 21 Yukon At4 registration and it was $736

Checked my registration from purchase and TRX was $1050 I'm expecting first year tagged to be in the 800-900 range for sure

They need to stop with this nonsense. There should be 1 emissions standard, not states picking and choosing what to follow.

Power is better in states hands. The last thing we need is more federal-level overreach. Be careful what you wish for.

Lifehack, buy a camper shell, go to DMV and register TRX as an RV and its only 200 per year. Did this with my 2500 and will for every truck going forward.

I got lucky that someone was selling a barely used shell for mine for $300. This is an example of someone else on the forum. Brand new they're around $2k I think. Pays for itself after a couple years, plus makes camping really easy. Leaving it on is probably recommended because, if you get pulled over, a cop can give you a ticket for incorrect registration.
