I found this vary confusing because I live in PA and we don’t go by California emissions we go by federal emissions in fact not all counties in PA even do emissions testing at yearly inspections it’s a county by county thing

and college age voters that changed things.

corvette has the same problem which is why most dealers opt for the California Emissions when ordering, so they can sell to stock orders to California or anywhere else. Last I heard it was just a sticker and not sure if that is true or not, but 2022 Emissions changed again so it could be more then just a sticker.

The whole smog thing is bogus. California just wants money. I live her in California and can say from experience there whole update to the new smog with computer flashing didnt do anything . Just smogged a 07 ram with a full custom tune and the system never saw it. Buddy smogged a 05 GMC fully tuned also smog system never saw it.
The whole CARB board is a joke and just screws with our builds to make money.

Wouldn't be surprised if FCA just makes the flash available at dealers to update with the code change. Luckily i live in a part that isn't completely crazy yet with all the lib crazyness. There a few good parts left in California. But not much

Not this guy, I was a political refugee from California and escaped to Texas because it is red and one of the last to be free if the shit hits the fan. I vote red and will not try and change Texas in anyway shape or form. Another great thing about Texas vs California, Vehicle Registration, Our TRX's would cost about 600 bucks to register, Here in Texas, 75 bucks.
