I bought my Powerwagon from dave smith. I will never buy from them again. They wanted to knock off 500 bucks off my trade (05 ram 1500) because the sliding back window chattered when you opened it but on the one they wanted to sell me, they disregarded things like the drivers seat belt had been cut and was stitched back together with red string on a black seatbelt that was right on your chest. Mind you this was after a bait and switch. After I drove 400 miles to buy a truck when I arrived they said they whole saled it that morning because "it was a pile of shit, you didn't want that truck but this one here for 10k more is the one you want". They next day after I bought the truck the battery was dead and left me stranded at a hotel. I could go on for another hour about how it was a joke of an experience. Luckily I came out on top of the deal after 5 hours of negotiations but will never go there again. Glad your experience was better.I love Dave Smith! I'm sorry to hear that. I've never dealt with them while trading a car in. Hopefully you found a better dealer to take care of you, especially when we're in this high of a price point.I bought my Powerwagon from dave smith. I will never buy from them again. And several do it the 3 around me did 25k,15k and 10k over msrp.Very frustrating when dealers add "market demand" adjustment to the MSRP. Several of the dealers in Colorado simply refuse to do that, wish all dealers were that way.
One every 6-8 hoursDoes anyone have a good guess on the numbers of trucks they'll build a day? How long they take to produce a complete build? Would be awesome to somewhat figure out when our trucks will be built.
If its one every 6-8 hours and they're running a single shift at a single plant, that would imply 5-6 trucks a week? I think we have 126 trucks in the build tracker. So that means 21 weeks just to deliver what's in the list. One every 6-8 hours
I was told 6-12 weeks from connects at the plant and as soon as mine hits frame I’m going to top of the list. But yeah i really hope your math is wrong lmaooIf its one every 6-8 hours and they're running a single shift at a single plant, that would imply 5-6 trucks a week? 10/12/20 production starts, puts us into March just to fulfill 126.
Hopefully my math is wrong....

I'm not sure if allocations work like this but a rep told the owner of my dealership ( I trust him 100%, i'm just not sure if the rep is correct) allocations were being based on Raptor sales in the different dealership areas...again, I have no idea.I hate how all the manufacturers don’t relay how the allocations go as a matter of fact. I’d love to know exactly how it works just to be able to steer where I put my order in, at least when they were selling the demons they about clearly stated the allocations were going to be based on a dealers past sales volume over like the last year or something.
I did hear this last week from my dealer that he was told by FCA that the 2nd round of allocations are to begin in November ... if that matters to anybody... and if that is accurate info.I'm not sure if allocations work like this but a rep told the owner of my dealership ( I trust him 100%, i'm just not sure if the rep is correct) allocations were being based on Raptor sales in the different dealership areas...again, I have no idea.
It also sounds like some dealers are claiming they have or had allocations when they truly don't.....
