Awesome! I just put the DR2s on today, you put them on the factory 9" wide wheels?

Heartland Park Topeka
77 degrees, 15mph head wind.
2021 Ram TRX Lvl 1
6700lbs with driver, spare removed, 3/4 tank.
Litens 2.85, IDX1050 Injectors, 93 tuned, everything else stock.
12.09 @ 111.06

Josh from HHP was graciously trying to dial in my tune on Saturday but the test and tune folks were running behind bracket racers so we were doing a run every 1.5hrs. I could only get 2 passes in. I haven't launched yet so I think high 11s is well within reach especially without the head wind and cooler temps. Next will be race fuel tune which can be much more aggressive. Targeting 11.5-11.6.
What kind of boost pressure do you run there with the 2.85 upper? I feel like you should be putting down more with that. Those look like normal deviation of stock numbers.

I'm on the left for the time slip. Density altitude for the day was 9388, ugh. Half a tank of gas and a lot of wheel spin, but it is what it is, lol. With all the mods I would believe I could do better, but it's going to at least take getting better tires.

Does density altitude make that much of a difference? That’s quite an extensive list of mods and your times I would think should be down into at least the high 10s on e85.

15-16psi on the 2.85 upper. I agree I expected more... I know the timing for the tune is very conservative until I go to my 104 octane tune.

DA takes several things into factor, Atmosphere, Altitude, Temperature, and barometric pressure. So all those factors under the umbrella term DA definitely make a difference on someone's quarter mile times. To make a 6500 pound truck run high 10's at 5,800 feet above sea level you'll need a lot more power than I have. I'm sure I can achieve better times with better tires and most likely adjusting my tune since it was tuned in Phoenix, but never-the-less high 10's is asking a lot.

New upgrades on mine and did a quick hit at a stop sign in the middle of nowhere I plan to go to track next week and see how she if I can get a full power launch without spinning. What mode is best for racing ? I used to use sport but now I just spin and now have to make a custom page or switch to other mode with traction control on.

Well crap. With your mod list, it is a lot. Can't believe it's not at least low 11s.

That elevation straight sucks!

I wish there was more participation or digging into FB posts for this E/T list, because there's a lot more 10 sec TRXs out there, and even a couple in the 9s, so it's badazz seeing just how fast some guys have been, but I'll toss in my bone stock slips.

Track/Location = Atco Raceway, NJ
1/4 Mile Time/MPH =12.195 @ 110.51
Year / Model / Trim = 2021 TRX Level 2
Date = 11/21/2021
Tires = Stock
Mods = Stock (well stock performance wise, ADDED weight with a Rambar, hard rolling tonneau, bedrug, etc.)

Attaching a couple pics.....one is the 12.19 E/T slip, then another that was a 12.25 pass just because that one shows the track info and date at the top of the slip, it was the same day. Then a couple pics of the truck (mine is the white one, and I was there with a buddy with his black one, his was stock with aftermarket wheels, which slowed him down just enough that I beat him by a tenth or so every time we lined up lol)

I bought my 2021 used from a dealer with 14280 miles.
The fastested 1/4 mile on the screen shows 11.3 at 113?
Any ideas why so fast?

Sounds like it spun a lot. The timers are based on wheel speed sensors so if it was on a crap surface and spun a lot for a launch that’s not outside the realm of normal. Guys have posted a lot more deviation spinning on ice. It’s unfortunate they haven’t put a reset feature in there just because of this

I was at the track again last night and saw a stock TRX run. DA for the night was 9061 and the guy ran a 13.6 quarter mile. Just thought I would share it for reference.
