I’m rapidly approaching 60k miles. Only problem Ive had was 1 leaky oil temp sensor. Cost me $150. No extended warranty, we will see how well it holds up going forward. But so far…no complaints. Been a solid ride.

Yep that's the other option, as the wise men say, they wouldn't sell extended warranties to lose money... BUT, on the other hand, if you are one of the few who need it for a catastrophic failure, it can be a huge money saver. Everyone can make their own choice based on their comfort level.

In my opinion it boils down to personal preference, your either going to shell out the money now and hope you never need it or later on and wish you had it. Example like when your defective front CV shafts and front diff go (not an if it's a matter of when) that repair bill alone will be close to the cost of the extended warranty especially if you can't or don't know how to wrench on your own vehicles. Mine just went (under warranty still) at 39,000km. Now let's talk headlights or tail lights with the BSM sensors by the time you do all 4 your pretty much double the cost of the extended warranty. These trucks aren't cheap to fix and when it's out of your own pocket it stings just a wee bit. I myself will be purchasing an extended warranty very shortly as all of the above I've already endured and it will probably happen again atleast once more in the trucks lifetime so I'd like to have as much/long coverage as I possibly can get to keep my money in my pockets or for future mods:)

Thanks brother! I think I might go the Mopar MaxCare route. Pricing isn't too bad - likely just going to get extended warranty for the time I have it financed. Granger responded almost instantly - my dealership hasn't gotten back to me yet.

Great information! I’m getting ready to decide on pulling the trigger on an extended warranty. I about to turn 10k miles but figure why not just in case.

Who is the contact for Granger to compare prices from where I purchased (Mark Dodge) my TRX?

Thanks,
Mark

I sent an email to mvp@grangermotors. I ended up dealing with Maria Grimm
