Any reason u can think of for why we might not wanna snag 1 of these? No way that mud or water can get into the crankcase via the UPR filter if we’re thrashing offroad right?

And conversely, no chance of oil exiting the UPR filter cap while thrashing?

Seems unlikely that it would get splashed much since it sits so high up but as I’ve said before, if anyone finds the limit it’ll be you!

Being at the top of the fill tube (and also having a baffle built into it) should eliminate the risk of any oil making it’s way out. I certainly haven’t seen any signs of that.

Well I’d have to buy something since I probably lost the original cap by now.

To be clear I’m not claiming this thing does anything noticeable, but the theory is solid and I like having it especially running higher boost.

For those of us with AMP Research steps, I found myself having to touch up little chips on the very edge. I do not feel like it’s from rocks because my passenger side hasn’t had any chips. Anyway, I came across these stainless steal edge guards designed by AMP to slide on using the groves in the step. I had my PPF guy put black vinyl or PPF on them. Pretty easy install but I did have to take my front wheels off only because they are wider than stock. I did have to search around for them in stock.

I’ve had those silly end caps fall off on my Amp steps. Any replacements out there you’ve seen?

Yes I had to replace a couple, easy to find on line. I just put a screw through the bottom of them the second time around

Today?

Same as every day: Open the hood and turn off the anti-mouse gizmo. Then, before calling it a day, open the hood and turn the anti-mouse gizmo back on.

Since this was our second winter that ended up MIA, the TRX just hasn't been driven much.
