What did you do to your TRX today?

I attempted this last night on our 8-hr drive back from Blairsville. Once i got on flat ground my MPG at 75mph, 73mph, 72mph and 70mph were all within 11-11.8mpg; whereas my 80-84mph was 10-10.2. Needless to say after that test was done, i avg'd 9.9 the rest of the way home :ROFLMAO:
I did it because I had to know once I did I got right back to the 9s!

Got ya beat (didn't take a odometer pic)... but at least I was in town. 🍻

I maxed the pump at $225. I scanned in again and added another 4 gallons. So there should have been another 2 still in there. If I let it get too low I always have to swipe twice. The one downside of a larger tank.

Are you running the extended tank out if Australia? One of the things I have wanted to do to my TRX. Any difference in the clearance or roll?

Yep that's the one. No difference to clearance. As for roll, I do have eibach springs, airbags, and the hellwig swaybar so it's way better than stock even with a full tank. I did have the tank on the stock springs for one day before the eibach and airbags went on and I do remember it having a little more lean.

Are you running the timber bags? I have thought about adding some air. What was your cost to get everything set up?

I'm using Boss Airbags. They're Aussie too. I bought them together with the tank from SCD. Cost for the tank, airbags and comperssor + labor? or cost with the springs and swaybar as well?

Both because I trust you that it plants better with more suspension upgrades. Just probably going to be a two part for me. I just bought a bunch of toys. Also did your fuel gauge ever level up or they will stay a bit off?

You still had a gallon and a half you can get milage out of the TRX! View attachment 145691will have to find it but believe the best I have done was short of 460 worst was 230.
Some would say you have that backwards. Isn't a low score better? Im pretty sure it's like golf. Closer to zero is better 🦖🤣.

The tank, bags and freight was $5825AUD so converted was under 4k USD.
I had to get a customs broker to organize the paperwork for the tanks release upon arrival in the USA USD$260
Then I had to pay a 'warehouse' fee when I went to pick it up which was another $USD277
I went with Airlift for the compressor USD799.95.
Eibach Pro front Kit USD$399
Eibach Pro rear Kit USD$399
Labor was 16hours
I did the hellwig myself. I originally had it on u-bolts but they are not compatible with the airbags. They mount to the same area, so I bought billet sway bar bracket bushings and drilled them in. I made some aluminium plates as standoffs to create a little more distance between the sway bar and the airbags.
I think that covers everything

For the fuel gauge I just go off the level, half, quarter tank etc. It reads full for the first 100miles, I'll start to see the gauge drop after about 110miles. The mile range is incorrect. I just filled it so its reading 331miles so its roughly double that. So whatever mileage it shows I just double it and minus like 10-15%. Little mental math but I'm used to it from my piloting days

Thank you very much, getting time to add more goodies to my TRX!

Got it, this should be my next upgrade. Thank you again for all the info and breakdown.

No worries. If you need any tips on the install let me know. Also if you have an aftermarket exhaust, the tank and airbags likely won't fit. The tank and airbags will clear stock exhaust though. I can't speak to other brands of aftermarket exhausts, but I have a GT Haus and it doesn't follow the stock exhaust path, most likely to improve air flow. I assume other brands might do the same. So I had to have my exhaust modified, as it was making contact with the tank at the first bend after the cats. And the drivers side airbag was blocking the path of the right side exhaust. So I had to have the exhaust cut and rewelded to clear these points. That was the biggest headache of the whole install

One more thing! Lol the tank is a whiteish color. So i had the bottom half linex'd so its less obnoxious from underneath

Appreciate the heads up. I'm still stock exhaust but looking some nice things finally hitting the market for the TRX. With it coming back I hope we get even more aftermarket support.
