If you don't like something you can always just move along and keep your fingers in neutral... but yea I only sold my 22 for this color..

Wish everyone on the web would follow that advice. I Gotta learn to let the FB keyboard warriors who talk shit from their moma's basement just ramble on. I find myself engaging them far too much

If you post pics, you are basically asking "hey guys, I bought this for my truck. What do you think?" If you don't want any input, don't post any pics. Expecting everyone to like your mods is unreasonable and if a little ribbing/criticism bothers you...well, get over yourself. 🤣 This web board is an awesome resource for the TRX, but it also provides a lot of great entertainment. Let's not ruin that by being so damn sensitive.

Its unfortunate being older I'm at a disadvantage nobody thought to teach internet etiquette, since there was no internet back in them days. Hell there was no home computer then either. Gasoline was 29 cents a gallon and a brand new Hemi Cuda was 3800.00. But it should be taught in school at least for the last 25 years or so.

There is a huge difference between critical and rude. You don't like everything I do is a ok. But if you have to be rude that's not ok. If you don't like it you can just move on. In my case the factory exhaust tips do not look good with the bumper. I'm trying something and posting for ideas I don't know it all yet. If you want to say it looks like sh it great. But you better say why and how about try this. Just to critique something but not offer any help is wrong. Your more than welcome to say I don't care for it but would prefer..... is helpful. The one thing I do like about this Forum is usually people try to help you not just kick you down... just my 2 cents worth..

Nah, it's just difficult to understand sarcasm on the Internet. I bet I'm as old as you are and I don't feel disadvantaged at all. Like it or not, you're just getting honest, sometimes blunt, opinions.

Personal attacks are a different matter, but nobody went down that road.

Long range fuel tank went in. Installed and coated eibach springs. Painted trailing arms. Tank wasnt working well with aftermarket exhaust. Aftermarket exhaust wasnt working well with airbags. Its been an ordeal.

What tank did you get?

I ordered it from SCD performance in Australia. Shipped it on the slow boat to California
Let us know how you like it. I couldnt get them to give me a straight answer on whether it hangs down lower than the OEM gas tank skid or whether it can handle rock bashing levels of abuse. Curious to see how it holds up

Wasnt referring to anyone on here. I specifically mentioned FB to make that clear.

Nothing wrong with opinions but sometimes silence is golden. I wasnt crazy about the man's exhaust tips either but I opted not to rain on his parade. If he likes em, then i'm happy for him.

Will do. I'll do a post in the tank thread. I've been procrastinating cos it's going to be a long one. I did pre and post photos of the hang measurements for ya. It's the same. As for durability, I don't plan to do any rock crawling, but the thing is really solid. I feels like it could handle some reasonable dings

Hell ya man appreciate it! So this new tank hangs about the same as the OEM gas tank skid? I imagine you dont use the OEM gas tank skids with the new tank right?

After 36,000 miles the stock tires were done. Went with General Grabber A/Tx’s in a 35x12.50. I was amazed at how quiet they were on the highway as well as in town. The steering also feels a little lighter/sportier. Only time will tell on how they perform or wear.

Changed the incandescent vanity mirror bulbs to LED. They may be too much. Will see what the wife says when she opens the mirror next time!

Used these bulbs if anyone is interested:
