I am waiting for the third transmission to be installed on mine. Truck has 1700 miles on it. About a month and a half to change the first one, which lasted 200 miles. I am closing in on a month waiting on this one. Dealer said that the authorization request was submitted last Friday and that it’s a two week decision making process. Then, if they get authorization, they have to order the new transmission. Dealers just don’t seem interested in power train warranty work. They just get to it when they get to it. I just hope it’s actually fixed this time. If I have to do it again, I don’t know if I will go through the warranty.
Went to multiple dealers. I am actually at a different dealer than the one who installed the last transmission. All of them seemed real uninterested in doing the work. All of them said they could not even look at it for three weeks or more depending on the dealer. Even went next door to another state, same deal. Which is crazy for a bone stock TRX with less than 2k miles.
