I wonder if he was carrying your truck on his shoulders while he derailed the train to delay @Boosted ? Jeff can be such a trickster. I will give it to him though, he does an ok job at making sure things are tight.Tomorrow will be my day. I feel like Jeff is reaching out to me telepathically with updates as he carries my truck on his shoulders from the Phoenix railyard to my dealership. It's either that, or the text from the dealership saying they should have my truck tomorrow, and the Jack Daniels![]()
@Boosted 's train was probably in the way of my "escalated case" train....so Jeff probably just flicked it out of the way. Sorry @Boosted , Jeff will come back for yours tomorrow!I wonder if he was carrying your truck on his shoulders while he derailed the train to delay @Boosted ? Jeff can be such a trickster. That’s Jeffed up! lolHey, Boosted, maybe there was a misunderstanding, and and your train, the Re-Union Pacific, isn't due for another 10 years?
Did they try any adjustments on it? Someone moved the driver’s side hinge on mine quite a bit. Can see the paint outline. Either during PDI or an inspection.Picked up the truck. The hood doesn’t latch very well. Seems pretty warped. The dealer told me about the issue and said they owe me a hood that latches correctly. I’m not sure if it was a transit issue or not. I would think the hood and body components are installed by robots and lasers. That’s what it looks like on those manufacturing videos at least. Il
Your sales person should keep you updated. My daughter who does the orders has a contact at the railyard she checks with. If they don't bother to check you will not know until it shows up at dealer. Is there any logical reason a dealership will not update a customer on a delivery date from the rail yard to the dealership? I see so many other members getting pushed information and status updates and I cannot get any info and I’m practically begging at this point. I am completely frustrated with the lack of interaction and apathy on the dealership side of things.
That’s awesome news. Crazy how my truck left the factory 2 weeks before yours yet it stopped 3 miles short of Barnes Yard and back tracked 55 miles and hasn’t moved since. Literally 4 hours from my dealership and has been sitting for 2 weeks and hasn’t reached Barnes Yard yet! So frustrated…. I’m ready to start planning my next purchase and give up on this one.I just got some good news my truck is supposed to be delivered to dealer tomorrow. It has only been at the railyard for 4 days. This is the fastest I have ever had a vehicle delivered from Barnes yard out of many purchases.
I feel for you Bill, I would think the dealer could get some kind of info about what is causing the hold up.That’s awesome news. Union Pacific is being tight lipped about it. The district manager and regional rep have only been able to get bits and pieces of info that translates to having smoke blown up their ass…. lolI feel for you Bill, I would think the dealer could get some kind of info about what is causing the hold up.
