VIN “811 & 812” April Order Group

Yes, still in D today. I haven't ever tried replying to the email, but I'll do that now and see if I get a response. I check with Ramchat and my dealership weekly, but on different days.

I am also still in D Status also my vin starts with 813 but was ordered on 2/6. I tried reaching out to the Case/Brand manger that emailed me, but they just don't want to respond with an update and its been over 2 weeks now.

As far as I know from their website, "Blind Spot Monitoring & Cross Path Detection" is part of Level 2, or you can add it all by itself as an option. And since the Tow Package makes no mention of that feature, I would think it has nothing to do with that. But I'm only guessing.

The system shouldn't allow ordering an option that's already included.
Is the Tow Group really listed on your POC?

The system does adjust based on options. So if you picked L2, the cost of the Tow Package went down to $185, since L2 includes the brake controller. You don’t see it online in the build tool, but you see it when you order the truck.

No option claims that, so I have no idea. It would make sense that it comes in the tow package, and nothing else, since it’s not listed as a feature anywhere.

I tried to get mine taken off the order, unsuccessfully, yet the car was built and went to JB today.
But that doesn't mean they have enough chips for many more builds.

She also confirmed that I am not being impacted by the chip shortage... I know nothing will come out of the escalation and I wasn't going to ask her to do it, but since she offered, what the hay.

Jeff can't respond to your email, because he is too busy escalating my case. Jeff is a real go-getter. I bet he's at the plant right now gathering all of my parts, one by one, so my build can be scheduled. And then Jeff is going to build my truck all by himself.

Jeff sent me a 2nd email telling me my order is now scheduled to be built on 7/5/21. Just my luck for my truck to get built by a bunch of hungover workers that drug their asses to the plant the day after the 4th of July! lol

Well, they are running out of time….. if the switch over to 2022s truly is on the 25th, they have a bunch of 811s, 812s, & 813s to pump through in roughly 30 days. I’m just happy to see a couple of 8XX series in @tripleB reports. Hopefully they capped the stock TRXs and are only focusing on our orders now.

Maybe we'll get lucky and they will run out of Uconnect 4's, and then throw Uconnect 5's in our builds I know that'll never happen, but everyone wishes Christmas would come early
