Vibrant/Borla/SLP Resonator Comparison

See for me I'm not a fan of the crackle pop the borla has when you rev it in that video. Maybe it's just that video and because it's echoing I side the garage??

The Borla definitely crackles, pops and burbles more than the slps. I am a huge fan of some of that but not gun shot pops like a straight pipe can be. Both sound amazing it just all depends what you’re looking for. If you don’t like that… listen to this one… it happens on a rare occasion.

😬 yeah nope lol. I think the sound in your first two clips are very similar to eachother and being inside a garage would definitely change the way I/we would interpret sound. If I was to switch out from the SLP's Borla would be my go to choice.

Here's a second video while I was towing my single axle enclosed cargo trailer with tools/materials, approximately 3,000lbs of cargo/gear plus whatever the trailer weighs.

Haha. Both sound great and glad to have so many options. These hellcat engines would make a fart can Honda exhaust sound good… but would of course never think about putting rice on these beauties.

100% agree it's a bit too much snap crackle pop for me as well

Hey Blaster here's the in cabin video.
Sounds good but hard to say what 1800rpms in 8th gear would be like. That's usually the tell-tale drone rpm range - if there is any. I think you hit that rpm in 7th gear but once it shifted to 8th you were back down to 1500. If you get a minute, try to hit 8th gear from 1700-2000 rpms. Start in 7th gear around 2500 adn then let it shift to 8th

Ok I'll hit the actual hwy tomorrow and get it into 8th and get a sound clip for you.

Hey Blaster PM me your email, I'll send you some videos. I don't really feel like posting them to YouTube to post to here. Speed limit may have been breached

vids sound good man! Doesnt seem too much louder than stock at those cruising Rpms which is a great thing

So ive got the Vibrants going on tmrw (ordered em the day after i installed the borlas since they’re all free returns on amazon). Will post some videos for every1 soon. If those dont work out, SLPs here I come thanks to @TRXNUT

The 1 thing i like more about the Vibrants is they have some sound-deadening inside so it theoretically should be a touch quieter than the str8 pipe design of the SLPs. A bit cheaper too but that’s irrelevant at this price point. I want the best sound with no drone!

Vibrant 18” I really do love the sound… sounds more aggressive than stock and the cold start is bada$$!

Does sound good! Not sure it's louder than stock but has a very nice, aggressive tone!
