Just finished my transaction with USSFCU, signed paperwork with Mark Dodge at noon, posted the paperwork in my preapproved USSFCU application and 1h later, they had sent the check fedex overnight to the dealer. Great interest rates and process, can only say good things about them.

Question for you. I’m going through the same process w/ USSFCU. We’re you able to get the final purchase agreement or Motor Vehicle purchase agreement from dealer before hand for USSFCU to send check to dealer?

You'll need too finish all of the paperwork with the dealer, then you'll have your final purchase order. Mostly about taxes etc. Then send that to the bank. Pro-tip, send your window sticker with your purchase order. Once you sign the bank's digital documents, the bank will finish up their side and send a check to the dealer. That's it.

Is it possible to do everything prior to going to dealer? Going from NY to VA to pick up when it’s ready.

Yes Sir, and typically it's how you want to do it for a smooth pick up. If you get everything with the dealer squared away, send the docs to the bank then follow up with a call. Get your loan officer on the phone so they move your stuff quickly.

They will only send the cashier's check to the dealer. Most of the dealers will want to have their down payment and/or full amount before you pick it up.

Took about a week for me to get my membership approved.

I was able to get my membership approved in about 1.5 days. Then I got the loan approved in about 1 day. After I submitted the requested info, I did a follow up call about 2 hrs later to politely inquire if they had everything from me that they needed.

My truck arrived today at MD with my luck. I called USSFCU and got membership approval as well so it's down to the wire at this point

They said everyone is getting membership for auto loans lol and worst case I can refinance with them later on
