Uconnect Box error message

Our Grand Wagoneer was displaying the same damn message. Dealer had the car for 7 weeks, had other issues too, and it still popped up when we got it back. Went back in to service last week and they said they installed a new Uconnect system. So far no more pop up messages.
 
Yep just tested mine. Sure as chit, when the message pops up, both the sos and assistance lights go red. Makes me wanna push em and force a connection
So, pushed the buttons they now do nothing. Unfortunately probably going to take a lawsuit from someone in an emergency not being able to use the sos function dealership said was "running as intended". @RamCares
 
it just stopped pooping up on its own so I didn't need to have him reset it.
Gotcha. did you renew a subscription during that time with Sirius?

So they replace the UCONNECT system (box) or reinstalled the software (fresh install)?

Yeah it sucks. I think they just need to reflash the box/ECU with the lastest software. Just my guess though
 
Mine did this on my PW once about 2 weeks ago but went away on it's own so when the rest of you figure out the problem then I'll take it in. I honestly prefer uconnect 4 as I can at least get the resets I want on the button part. The thing I do like about the 22's is you can look on the driver and passenger cameras and the tailgate light. ucoonect 5 has so many bugs still.

When my daughter gets back with it from vacation I’ll look at the ticket and let you know what exactly it says and what version it is. I do know my TRX that was made last month has almost been bullet proof. Only time it has a delay is on my Amazon music app. Podcast work great and apply play connects every time.

Gotcha. This is the first issue I've had with my TRX since getting it in January. Everything else works great also

Just took the TRX in to have a module replaced by the service department per STAR Online recommendation. The message still popped up after having a brand new Uconnect module placed. Seems likely to be a software/firmware issue rather than a physical component.

Kiddo finally got back from vacation, over 1400 miles, and didn’t have one pop up! I looked at the service ticket and it says they replaced SOP telematics box. It connects very well, Apple CarPlay is very quick. FWIW, it has the same software version before and after replacing SOP.

My Sandblast was built in June and it’s insanely fast on connecting to Apple CarPlay, and so far has been bullet proof. The software version in this is totally different than our Grand Wagoneer. I would say it’s faster than Land Rover and Chevy on connecting. Maybe the newer trucks have better hardware.

Got me telematics box replaced today and issue still persist. Now it makes me wonder if they even replaced it? They said they may have to keep the truck and lend me a grand wagooneer while they figure out the issue but I’m not with that at this point in time. Especially since @RamCares seems to not have a fix.

Vehicle -> Settings -> scroll down and click “Software Information”
