If they're out til Christmas I wonder what will happen to all the hellcat motors that have been built and not installed? There could be thousands.

Automakers will have signed their own death certificates if they allow this to go that long. It would be devastating to the auto industry.

In thirty years, our "Beasts" will die of thirst since all gas stations will be replaced with electric vehicle charging stations. Mine will be sold way before I have to confront this reality.

I highly doubt that'll be our lifetime problem.

They told people in the 50s and 60s this during the roar of V8s combined after the 1970's fuel shortages. And yet here we are. The fact is that gasoline drilling and import/export equates to a lot of or all of GDP, especially for the OPEC countries. That will not just "disappear"

EV's are already being doubted. I think for the foreseeable future there will be contention around electrification and frankly as there should be, until the battery tech gets better, which is what should have happened in the first place before all the greenies in politics sucked off the EV push money grab.

• The terms of the deal had to be approved by UAW leadership before the union could officially brief local union leaders and then publicly announce the tentative agreement.
• The deal, which would still need to be approved by union leaders and ratified by members, is patterned off a 4½-year agreement reached between the union and Ford Motor on Wednesday.
