TRX mirror option from factory

Oh I was thinking of buying a spare set and keeping these to swap on and off when I do need them tow.

heard normal ones are extending a lot to begin with and tow mirrors have some insane blind spots. Again, this is what i heard.

how did it cancel out? my 19 longhorn 2500 had tow mirrors and 360 cameras, and even power folded.

That may have been specific to the 2500. My crappy tow mirrors were a POS and because they didn't have a camera, I guess that prohibited the 360, so all I had was the rear camera. Then they upcharged like $300 on the tow mirrors. There is a thread somewhere on the 5th gen forum that documents the anger pretty well from those that were early orders of the '19 1500, lol

can try to exchange them here or on the FB page. Easy to remove/install.

If you swap the tow mirrors out for regular ones, do you lose any functionality? Heating, blind spot sensor, temp gauge, etc?
I think if it’s really plug and play, then the only thing I lose is that my button for the rear projector lights just won’t do anything. Is that accurate?
