heard normal ones are extending a lot to begin with and tow mirrors have some insane blind spots. Again, this is what i heard.Oh I was thinking of buying a spare set and keeping these to swap on and off when I do need them tow.

That may have been specific to the 2500. My crappy tow mirrors were a POS and because they didn't have a camera, I guess that prohibited the 360, so all I had was the rear camera. Then they upcharged like $300 on the tow mirrors. There is a thread somewhere on the 5th gen forum that documents the anger pretty well from those that were early orders of the '19 1500, lolhow did it cancel out? my 19 longhorn 2500 had tow mirrors and 360 cameras, and even power folded.

If you swap the tow mirrors out for regular ones, do you lose any functionality? Heating, blind spot sensor, temp gauge, etc?can try to exchange them here or on the FB page. Easy to remove/install.
