TRX mirror option from factory

Just wanted to post what the regular outside mirror looks like compared to the optional towing mirror. Remember the towing mirror rotates into a vertical position. Might help some one decide ?

I wish I had known the oem mirror folded and was heated.

Really only upside to the two mirror is the “trailer spotting light”

Can you take a pic of that light and maybe with it on at night to see how much illumination it gives?

I heard you use the bed light switch to turn it on.

I wish I could , but I spotted these on a a truck Granger Motors had waiting pickup from its owner. I enjoyed looking at all the ones they had on hand to see in person the options.

Turn the switch that illuminates the white light that is in your center brake light that shines into your bed.

Then a little led light under your side mirror should shine backwards.

Just went and tried this, I just learned something new. Sweet! The brake light and side mirrors have white lights that illuminate to the sides and rear. The headlight dial has a button on it that I never used. Thanks for the education. Pics to follow (After this beer, unless I forget).

Down, as in folded in, or down as in not in mickey mouse mode? That's with the mirrors in the in position. I think they even work while the mirrors are folded in. I'll check.

Yep. Up/down, no difference. When folded in, they turn on and light up the interior of the truck.

I think the California programming makes it so it has to be in park. Which is stupid.
I messaged Tazer… I think they are a squeaky wheel gets the grease type deal. So the more who ask the more likely it will come about.
