Something about you gotta register your truck as a commercial truck because of its weight and NY laws. I think @Smoke king stripped his truck down to get it below the commercial truck weight
Haven't gotten mine done yet as I haven't received my paperwork from the dealership in North Carolina yet but I decided to go the seat belt and enclosed bed cover route so I got 1 of my guys to make me an invoice and try that at the dmv once my paperwork gets here
My truck got almost all mods done I'm not feeling taking everything off to do a weight reduction but if the invoice doesn't work I'll have to do it!
Not really remove rambar 50 - 60 lbs, take out the spare tire which is 103lbs alone and put smaller rims, and tires on all around should be good enough but I haven't done it yet as my paperwork still has arrived
Leave it on E and tow it in with your charger
I had a extra set from my last truck that's why I was going that route but instead I'm doing this
Went this route instead didn't want to be the guy driving down the road in a new trx looking like a ass than hitting internet for all types of jokes

Yes same here with the commercial plates. I put them on for now. I am sure it was previously stated, it is based on the weight. 6,001+ must be commercial plates. Our trucks are about 6,400 lbs. Once I have my physical title and registration I may try and do the suggestion with the invoice unless someone finds a better way.
