The Koons CDJR $10,000 OFF your TRX order build MSRP IS REAL !!!

I have never paid the taxes on a purchased car at any dealer. I just take the purchase paperwork to dmv and Handel it all myself. Something don’t sound right about them forcing everyone to do so.

Just the opposite for me. I have never NOT paid taxes at the dealership at time of sale unless I am buying in or registering in a state that has no taxes. That’s across nine states I’ve lived in and bought cars.

This was in April

You don’t have to pay taxes at the dealer as it’s your responsibility to do so. Just like on your pay checks. I have never had a problem doing it this way, and I live in California lol. Chapman had no problem with it at all. It just takes the headache completely out of it. Plus why would you want to finance the taxes on the purchase?

They won't sell you the car unless they charge you for tax. I never finance but they were adamant they have to do taxes. Dancummins has the same policy

That’s crazy I just bought my wife a new Volvo in Reno and didn’t pay tax or registration there either. Did it back at my neighborhood dmv.

They are doing it to take a credit for the taxes. If they are paying the taxes they can submit a tax credit.

If you paid cash why are they handling any of the title or tax paperwork? I paid cash for mine through Chapman and got my plates same day here in California as soon as my truck was delivered. Just paid the taxes and registration after getting a smog, weight, and vin verification. Was super easy. Had a title in a week in the mail.
Just did the exact same thing on Monday. Weight certificate, smog check, Vin verification & payed taxes and registration at DMV and they handed me the plates.

Just adding another experience, the deal is absolutely real. They do deliver, and they’re great to work with. Just picked up my first truck in my life, was in and out in 50 minutes.

So how does that work for the dealer getting a tax credit? I’m also buying out of state and the dealer wants to charge me a $150 fee for a 3rd party vendor to handle the registation/dmv related processes. Also, I’m not sure if there is any truth to this but was told from a GM at another dealer that taxes and registration doesn’t have to paid to the dealer if the vehicle is being shipped out of state

it doesnt but they require it and wont sell you a car if you refuse.

I purchased mine from Chapman in Pa and live in California and didn’t pay the dealer any taxes or California registration fees. They charged me like $35 for a temporary PA registration and inspection that’s it.

If you don’t like the way they do things, pick another dealer. If you can live with it you’ll have the deepest “out the door” discount you’ll find anywhere in the good ol’ USA.

For me, it’s a no-brainer

..also they spell all of this out before you place your order. It’s not like they surprise you with it when you show up to take delivery. You have to agree to it before you even place the order.

No they didn’t spell it out before I placed my order. It’s part of the paperwork when you sign for the truck. Point is I have to pay a fee just to even register the truck. They can kiss my ass on that. I’ll pay the taxes and registration by not a 3rd party bs $150 fee.

It was in my paperwork when I ordered Feb 15. When did you order?

Koons was no surprises. Exactly to the penny what the original buyers order had stated. I chose to finance through them but didn’t have to. It was just easier. They register/title the truck for you. I’m guessing the main reason is to keep you from flipping it on the drive home from the dealership.

Again if you don’t like it you can always go elsewhere and pay more. But if you can accept those terms then go with Koons and you won’t be disappointed.

I can’t wait for the ‘23s. I’ll be placing another order with Koons as soon as I’m able
