Also, what does Service say if the see it? Can it be easy unplugged and removed when you take the truck in for service? I'm assuming just the live features would cease to work until you plug it back in.

I can’t speak for your dealer but my Tazer never comes out. Easy enough to unmarry and remove before taking it to the dealer so that’s what I would recommend.

I think my dealer will be fine. They do lots if mods and such. If it's simple to remove I may just do that. No reason not to.

I gotta have the folding mirrors. Odd what you get used to.

I too am awaiting BD lights. I've got a couple of weeks, or three. Bumpers, wheels, tires are ready. Still waiting on steps and my Retrax. I'm still deciding on security too.

What are you going with?

If your truck shows tomorrow I would expect it at the dealer this week!

I hope so! The dealer said they usually get the trucks about a week after it's delivered to Dallas. I'm going to get the Ravelco kill switch installed, I just don't want to mess with worrying about it getting stolen in the bigger cities.

I think I'm doing that too. I am adding addashocksensor too and an Optimus tracker. All three should provide ample deterrent and really not cost all that much. Are you quite a ways outside of Dallas?

I'm in Austin and my truck is headed to Dallas yard too. Mesquite, I believe.

I would like to add that the guy that owns this will bend over backwards to help you out, via text no less, i felt like I was dealing with a buddy as opposed to a business man, no problems with mine other than user error which he was great about support.

Is there a good, concise YouTube vid on setting the Tazer up on our trucks? Many of the vids I’ve seen tend to go off track due to operator issues.

For the amber halo mod, is that “Amber DRL” in the live features?

I would like amber halos all the time, disable fog light dropout when using high beams, and auto fold mirrors to start.

There are many videos but honestly I don’t watch them so I do not know which ones are good…. lol

Amber DRL’s in the live features will give you what you want….ambers all the time.

I might do an informational video on how to use the Tazer DT in a TRX. Just need to find the time.
