This morning when I pulled out of the garage the surround view was off again and I had to manually turn it back on. So, it doesn't seem that the update fixed my issue. It's also still pretty slow. I counted about 5 seconds from when I put it in R to when the camera finally showed up on the screen.

Odd. I would try unmarrying and remove the Tazer. While you have it out, reinstall a previous version of the firmware and then the latest 18.1.1.

Leave the Tazer out for a day or two to see if your issues are uconnect related. Then reinstall the Tazer and see if the problems are gone.

I know it sounds like a lot of work but your issues are not common and I don’t know what’s causing them.

The picture that @DIABLOPOWER702 posted are the plugs you need to disconnect from the security module and these plugs will plug into the Tazer.

I installed my tazer dt mainly for the drl lights but been having all kinds of issues with the screen since I married it to the car. camera comes on while driving and freezes up my screen etc.. anyone else having issues with the tazer?

22 I just bought it 2 weeks ago. I was warned by friends that it will cause a lot of issues and to stay away and here i go 1 day in and problems started right away.

What firmware is loaded on your Tazer? Have you updated it? Who did you buy it from?

From what I can set is your Tazer does not have the ‘22 speed firmware.

Using a windows based computer, go to zautomotive.com and download the update utility and then download the current update (18.1.2) to your Tazer.

It works, but it is a little "glitchy" . Taser could fix a few bugs.

The updates are fixes to known glitches. The problem isn’t really the Tazer as uconnect is full of glitches and trying to work around then is difficult.

I just installed mine today and it partially worked. I was able to mess with the light shows, but could not get into the settings to marry. After turning the ignition to off and back to run, the uconnect screen would not boot up. Even after repeated resets it was completely unresponsive. I unplugged the tazer and plugged the car back in and everything went back to normal. I'm not sure what I did wrong, but it seems like the tazer and the car (22 just picked up) did not get along. Could the advanced cruise control cause a conflict? What am I doing wrong?
