START OF 2024 PRODUCTION

After reading all of these replies, I think I'm more confused than when I started... Sounds to me like Pre-Orders (Customer builds) aren't going to be a thing and unless you want to pay $10-30k over MSRP (like the Raptor R), the days of $6-13k off MSRP are over?
Best way to think about this, @houckhogan, is that no one knows anything.

I ordered my MT23 on August 18th of 2022 @ 3:26pm.... I was told at that time "the banks just opened" If I recall correctly, production for the MY23 started late November and they were building MY22 up until that same time. My personal opinion, and only by 2 cents is the production is going to be the biggest indicator as to what they will do. We know the TRX is going to "live on" however I personally think if we see a stop in production in the next few weeks and no TRXs are being build, there is going to be a change to the motor. I personally don't see why the would stop production and then start it back up. If the MY24 was going to have the 6.2L I think they would just keep running the line until they say stop, we are done. I don't see the logic to stop it and then start it back up, but hey, I could be 100% wrong.

Not sure what you're talking about, with respect to a "stop in production". They are steadily putting out trucks every day, with varying quantities of the TRX included in the mix of Rebels, Laramies, Bighorns, etc.
The 2023's came to a screeching halt last week, and 2024's are steadily being built now. I've heard no rumors of an engine change in the middle of MY2024. The only question mark is whether Ram will accept customer orders, or will just build allocated TRX's through the end of the calendar year.

🤣 it wouldn’t be summertime on the TRX Forum without threads like this…

Funny part is while the posters have changed, the posts are near identical.

I’m just glad that as I sit on the porch at my beach house I am staring down the nose of this:

And not worrying if I should or shouldn’t place an order, or if/when it will arrive.
I’m with you. My 2021 just gets better and better.

I do feel bad for those with a 2023 still on order. It’s a mess.

Meaning I think it would be odd to take a break from making the TRX model. So say in a few weeks / months, you don't see any MY23 or now MY24 being built, I think that, to me, would be a signal for a chance coming. Yes the physical line would still be operational, but stopping the TRX production would be the indication for me that something is changing. Again, just my opinion.

But where are you getting the notion that 2024 TRX production will suddenly stop mid-cycle?

Found 19 2023 Window Stickers tonight, none of them were forum members.
There were no 2024 TRX Window Stickers
Have there been no 2023 Window Stickers in the past couple of days? I haven't seen an update for yesterday for 2023. Are they just done making them all together?

I don’t think anyone except Ram knows that. The longer they go without building any, the more it’s looking that way.

IMO that would be the dealers best financial interest is to capitalize on trucks that won’t be the same in 25 my as 512 twin turbo if the hubbub is correct😢

I was told some Hurricane engine TRX's went down the production line today... :poop::poop::poop:

361
Edit: bad memory, it's actually 332 as of now.
DUDE! You had me working overtime the past 48 hrs trying to figure out how I was missing nearly 30 TRX’s. I had scanned and rescanned. Deleted all other Non TRX trucks and then rescanned again thinking one might have got cancelled and changed to a TRX after the original VIN was issued. Glad to know I’m not slippin!!

Lol...I'm rolling on the floor right now!!!

Did you hear whether they were 2025 pilot vehicles, or 2024 production vehicles?
2025 builds, I havent found any 2024 vehicles with Hurricane's yet but there have been some of All 1500 models with the Hurricane for 2025
Only other engine I have found in 2025's is the 24V 3.6L V6 but most are the Hurricane

14% 3.6L V6
86% 3.0L I6
