START OF 2024 PRODUCTION

Hello, just wondering if anyone has heard anything on when the ordering will open for the 2024 Trx. I’ve talked to my dealer and it doesn’t even show up on their system

Seems to be stuck in

Seems to be stuck in IQ status cert test.
Oh boy…? What possible scenario would cause it to be stuck in IQ? I feel like there is a dark cloud over this whole purchase…

You can skip all of the reading in the post that @IdahoKTM linked. You can't order a 2024. It's dealer allocation only. The only way to get one now is find a dealer that will give you an incoming TRX (or find one on a lot).

The link goes straight to the post that says you can't order a 2024.

Thanks a lot for this. Was holding off to see if I can spec out a 24’. Thankfully there’s a dealer near me that has the exact spec I want only as a 23’ with 1000 miles. Might just have to take the L and look into that one

I'd snatch it up if I were you. The 2023's are substantially cheaper than the 2024's (with no known differences). Not to mention that you may or may not be able to eventually find a 2024 that suits your needs.

You might be right. Well fingers crossed hopefully I can go and check it out it’s about a 4 hour drive to get there

If you can tell me the last 6 digits of the 2023 VIN you're looking at, I'll tell you if there are currently any 2024's that have the same specs.

It was just a final cert test for door locks and key function and the like. Nothing serious. Operator error.
70 more TRX Build Sheets found today. 1 more forum member with a truck starting production! Congratulations to @TRX427

Well, that one is one-of-a-kind. There have been no other trucks built with that exact configuration (2021 thru 2024, at least as of right now).

Ignoring the items you can add later (like hood/exterior graphics, bed utility group, running boards), and looking at the "bones" of what you wanted, you'll have a hard time finding that in a 2024 too.

There has only been 1 truck built for 2024 with the following parameters:
Bright White, Level 2, Carbon Fiber, Red Interior Accents, Pano Sunroof, Trailer Tow Group (no Trailer Reverse Steering), and Trailer Tow Mirrors. And that one went to Costa Rica, lol.

Edit: If you can live without the trailer tow mirrors, then here's a fairly similar one that was recently stickered and sold to the state of Virginia. Unfortunately, I don't know which dealership it's headed to.

And one to Ohio that's also fairly similar.

Hey @Viperjim would you know what IQ status means or why it might get "stuck" here? Or maybe its past this status now??
IQ status is halo inspection and cert test which then gets put into ship mode and then to shipper to go to accessories upgrade or shipped if nothing added after factory bedliner, side steps, graphics, rollbar ,etc. as all of those are done outside source. Then ships back to the plant and then out on transport to vehicle origination number or dealership.

Ok, all I had was the side steps, liner, hood decal, level 2 trim and beadlocks ...I mean it was fully loaded but only with OEM installed stuff...no roll bar this time. So ill assume its waiting to be shipped on transport or train...Im only 8 hrs away in WI so id think they would just load on carrier, but my rep says by rail first then carrier to southern WI... adding weeks to the process possibly.. Hey thanks a ton for the intel.... so much to learn here... ITs greatly appreciated sir!

Well beadlock rims installed at the plant and all accessories are done offsite by third party then shipped back to the yard for final shipping. To bad the don’t do like the viper plant where you could pick it up yourself there and treated to a box lunch and tour and all the glam and glitter. And 2000$ for destination fees when was 995 a couple years ago. But inflation you know.

Thank you so much for all this info, extremely helpfully.

I’ll keep y’all updated on whatever happens lol
