Start Button Kill Switch Harness

Finally got mine done today. Instead of finding a spot under the steering column, I routed it by the glove compartment -- you get another layer of security by locking it. Though not 100% secure, getting to the switch will make it a little harder or longer to access. If you don't want to keep getting your key out of the fob, you can go to Lowes or Home Depot to get it copied. Running the wires is a straight shot from the start button key area to the glove compartment. I used a pickup tool with prongs to grab the wires. Also, you can directly disconnect the wire harness and use the harness from @maestro5531 without removing the start button -- you have plenty of space if you remove the steering column cover. On a side note, the wires that came with the harness are a little short, so you will need to get a 16-gauge wire to extend it. Lastly, use a step drill bit for the switch. I hope this helps.

It removes power from the start button so the start signal can not be sent to the vehicle computer. In order to start the vehicle the kill switch needs to be flipped allowing the start button to operate as it normally would.

You may want to take that video down, gives thieves another source of knowledge on potential anti theft measures.
