So just a random thought, my VIN is also 68xxxx, was assigned late January (D status). My dealer didn't have allocation at the time my VIN was assigned.

@KnightMare Is it possible the 68xxxx represent orders picked up by FCA that didn't have an allocation?

My dealer informed me he would loose the allocation if FCA didn't pick up my order. He replaced my allocation with a black level 1 build as he knew it would get picked up and built, which it did. The idea was apply one of his February allocation to my build but FCA grabbed it before he got his February allocations.

Correct, I saw his allocation screen and he did not have allocation when my build was picked up. Is it possible someone didn't use their allocation so FCA assigned it to my build generating the 68xxxx?? Also says all parts are available and we know that's BS (Level 2, bead locks, carbon, tech etc.) lol. Both myself and the dealer were surprised to see a VIN assigned. Again, just a though as no one seems to know why some VINS changed to 68xxxx, could it be the merger yes, but then why did they got back to 90xxxx. The entire process is so strange.

KightMare, any chance you can have a look into that magic crystal screen and find a build date for 901979? I have a possible line on a different LE that is built but I don't want to get into a stupid bidding war or pay way over what ADM I already agreed to take delivery a little bit earlier. But with no timelines in site, the who know how they are deciding what to build any given day and sounds of the various shortages increasing I am getting can we say anxious.

Keyword: Hendricks. You better believe FCA kisses their ass. I personally don’t like to deal with them but I have bought a few vehicles from Hendrick dealers. longest car deal of my life was at one of their dealerships. A lot of games were played to get to the final deal. 7 hours on a Sunday! No kidding.

I'm on the registry with such a low VIN (900185) and have been watching these other Hydro Blue TRX's being built with higher VIN's and I, like many of you am dying here trying to be patient..... Finally the inventory manager says I have an estimated ship date of 2/14. just about a week away. Any info on mine having a build date? Please........ it would be the 1st glimpse of light for me since August...... You are doing a great thing here!!!

Several of us have build dates planned this week including the man, the myth, the legend @KnightMare. I’m sure he’ll be keeping a close eye on this weeks builds. I think we just wait and see what unfolds. I will say if my date gets kicked out and they keep building these dealer orders from 2 weeks ago, I’m at the end of my rope.

I don’t think that is the case. I have an order that was not allocated and my vin is 90xxxx. I thought maybe this was from the switch from FCA to Stellantis but then I saw a 66xxxx vin which just blew my mind. Why 90xxxx and 68xxxx and 66xxxx? Why not sequential?
