drive it back in Baja mode from dealer after update. No problem with or without traction control. It

I love the sound it makes on Baja mode.

Took it in at 8:30 got it back at 9:30.

All good so far, drove home in Baja mode. It's about a 35-40 mile drive home.

Have yet to take my truck for service to a dealer, got about 7300 miles on my 2023, but the infamous clunk has started to happen, so perhaps I should wait till the clunk starts getting worse and then take it in for the clunk and this Recall and get both done simultaneously. Really dreading taking it to any dealer after all the horror stories here, and then I will have to explain the IGLA to the techs. And yeah, wonder if the techs will abuse the truck while they have it. Guess my FitCam dashcam will capture that though.

Put it into service mode when you get there (also set the pin to something like ok 4 times) this way if they drive it somewhere theres a chance they will be stranded and can’t restart it.

That's yet another recall notice going in the ever growing pile of ones not done.

It's quite thick because of other FCA/Stellantis vehicles, not just the TRXs, but either way I will not subject them to dealer service if at all possible.

I was just told that 2019 - 2022 1500's do not have a remedy yet. Only 2023 and 2024 models do. Does anyone know if this is accurate?

I can see there is no remedy for 2022, I was seeing if anyone with 23 or 24 had a remedy, but thanks.

Just a little heads up on this recall. I went in today for mine and also an oil change. I was there for over 3 hours and the service manager came and got me. He was getting ready to give me a loaner as they got my truck stuck in park and it wouldn’t start. I have the Tazer dt and the Nolimitz installed in my truck. Anyway the tech was stuck and wasn’t to sure what to do. So I ask the service manager if I could go out with him and talk to the tech. He was a little reluctant but let me go out. The tech had unplugged my Tazer and I told him I actually have two of the Z automotive devices in my truck and by unplugging just the one that’s what locked up my truck. So I pulled my passenger kick panel off and unplugged the Nolimitz and plugged it back in the factory way and all was good. He had my truck outside all updated in about 20 more minutes. So if you have the NOLImitz installed in your truck do yourself and the tech a solid and plug everything back to factory so they can do the recall without any issues and save them and yourself a lot of time.
And my truck is a 23 for those asking about the year vehicles.

Just called my dealer for my 21 and the woman over the phone said she couldn't give me an appointment because parts aren't in yet for his recall. I explained to her it should just be a part because it's a software update but I got nowhere with her. I hate stealerships.

I got this recall performed today. I dropped the TRX off at 7:00 AM. It sat on their lot until right around 10:00 AM and they were done by 1:00 PM. They were also, hopefully, fixing my left turn signal reset issue so they completed both tasks in that 3 hour window.

I noticed that at least two Vehicle Settings were changed after the dealer trip. The Auto Park Brake was now set to Off and the Key Off Power Delay was set to Off/0. When I turned the truck off the first time, everything powered off and that surprised me a lot.

I received the ABS brake recall notification in the mail today for my 23 TRX. However when I look it up online it doesn't show. I'm going to wait until my oil change. Even then I won't bring it up. I don't use turn signals and don't need brakes

Yeah, I believe that they fixed this turn signal issue today when I was in for the recall. They removed and replaced PN 68545657AB in the steering column. Left turns seem to be resetting now and there is definitely a quieter click when the switch resets. I will have to wait and see if the fix sticks and then compare what they did today vs. what the recalls states to do when I get it.

I’m at the dealer now waiting for my oil change, and turn signal recall, and made absolutely sure to let my (very good and competent) service advisor along with the tech who’s working on the truck to NOT do the ABS/Stability control recall as I read here that it is part of a federally mandated way to keep stability control on no matter what.

I really miss the more analog version of vehicles, and I’m only 40.
