Passive entry added to REAR doors?? *EDIT* - ACCOMPLISHED AND WORKS PERFECTLY!!!

Actually that's a good point now that you say that- I remember there being others incredibly similar. I.E. be careful distinguishing between a green wire WITH a white stripe versus a white wire WITH a green stripe. One of the stripes is ever so slightly bigger and I feel like I remember finding one that fit both criteria, it's possible the wrong one was grabbed which would be incredibly easy to do.
I did see a few wires that looked similar on the driver's side. I think I was careful to pick the one that had more green. Passenger side was pretty obvious. At least I think it was. Either way, I think I will start there when I get home this weekend. Maybe I am not getting good contact with the wire tap.

When I did mine I feel like I had the same problem and turned out the location where I spliced into the harness was the problem. The main harness “y”s off if you will under the seat. I had picked out the correct color markings and spliced accordingly but I spliced into the harness on the right side of where the harness goes under the seat, so toward the back of the truck. Mine did not work and I had checked and rechecked like you and with nothing. Not even sure what made me move it but once I spliced back into the harness on the left side of the “y” it worked.

Not sure if that’s your problem but hope that helps

That's a good point- when I spliced mine it was toward the very 'front' of the loom closest to the pedals. About the furthest up under the front sill plate that you could go. This could be (hopefully) the culprit.

Yes, this is possible, and a few have done it. Handles are the same. I can build the harnesses for the rear doors almost plug n play, but there is no way to avoid tapping into the front door handle switch wires.
Hi Jimmy,

How do I get a set of your ready made cables for my 2023 TRX Havoc? Thanks Mouritz
