Compromise is part of overlanding for sure! Either way, it's a sweet setup!high enough where me, at 5/10, requires a step stool in order to use it. oh well. nothing in life is perfect.

You might be able to engineer a way for the supports to extend lower for use and retract for storage. I always love a good challenge to improve on a stock design!high enough where me, at 5/10, requires a step stool in order to use it. oh well. nothing in life is perfect.
Ok, now that I have seen your cargo glide, I think I am leaning more this way than drawers. Your setup is sweet! Thanks so much. Here is a bunch of random photos to give you an idea but I didn’t take photos after doing that mod specifically. I should have. The fronts did not last my first trip out and I had to remove and trash them. Rears are pretty bent but still look ok.
Having done both (slide and Decked), I would never go back to drawers again. The slide is so much more practical, and has more usable space. If you have a tonneau, the security/protection issue is addressed as well.Ok, now that I have seen your cargo glide, I think I am leaning more this way than drawers. Your setup is sweet!
Man this truck is getting expensiveHaving done both (slide and Decked), I would never go back to drawers again. The slide is so much more practical, and has more usable space. If you have a tonneau, the security/protection issue is addressed as well.
I have no experience with CargoGlide, but I recommend checking out Nuthouse Industries. They custom fabricate 1000# capacity, full-extension slides from aluminum, so they are considerably lighter than CG. Plus, they will customize L-track, fridge cut-outs (which allows the fridge to sit lower in the slide and also stay put), etc.
I've run Nuthouse on my last 3 trucks, and they are awesome.
Dang. This setup is rad.Man this truck is getting expensive

Damn, that was a nice set-up!They make great stuff! This was my old gladiator with the basic slide.
Wow this is incredible. Had I known this existed I may have opted for this as opposed to the full RSI setup. Extremely cool!Man this truck is getting expensive
Thank you so much Paul!Ok, now that I have seen your cargo glide, I think I am leaning more this way than drawers. Your setup is sweet!
I greatly appreciate the compliments on the build. It was extremely fun piecing together through hours of research.Love the ADD bumpers! I had them on a Silverado, only complaint was over time the small rock chips in the powder coat started to rust. I pulled them off, sent them to LineX and had them coated front and back. Worked out nicely.
Love the overall build too! Its definitely a purpose built rig, everything has a place and everything in its place! And you USE the truck for what you built it for. Not rag'n on Jeep owners, but 99% of them build a "cool" looking rig and never venture off the pavement. It looks fun, more power to ya!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
No need to build a truck to do that. Just walk into a strip club@nickinfleet I hate seeing your truck. It makes me want to throw $$$$ around.
I got you on IG so I will send some directly to you today.Nick do you have any pictures of the ADD bumpers from a distance? I'm trying to get a feel for how much shallower the front is vs the stock bumper and everyone has close up shots.
Also - love the setup.
