My TRX Build - Overland Focused

Your truck is looking really good! Take some pics of the stove/kitchen pulled out. I'm curious to see how that all looks in there.
The stove needs some modifications to be supported on the TRX. I actually put a small scratch in my rear fender pulling the stove out (and carefully) already. I think had I not been careful it would have resulted in a scratch and a dent. Either way I can post some photos today.

I probably missed it but what have you done to the rear suspension to help with the added weight? Sway bar? Springs? Looking to do a similar build. I already have the Decked drawer system installed. Love what you're doing!!

Roofnest went on tonight and I ended up getting some rekgen mudflaps

I have a magnetic mechanics fender cover arriving Friday and then I’ll open up the stove and take some pictures likely over the weekend. I still need to clean everything that’s in there and remove all the packaging.

In the current state the stove will for sure scratch my rear fender. It already did slightly

Here is a photo after a wash / wax today showcasing the RSI SmartCap + Kitchen as well as my cargoglide in the bed.

The kitchen accessories are all in the dishwasher now.

I had an old set of wusthoff classic that I decided to swap in for the four steak knives as well as the kitchen scissors. I also swapped the square edge burger flipper with a Mercer Culinary 4” x 2.5” that I have had in the BBQ drawer. Under the stove, I put a kobalt 24”x36” heavy duty vinyl non-scratch magnetic fender cover which stretches across the entire kitchen area and fits perfectly in the bins. Everything but the wusthoff knives came from Amazon either recently or at some point.

the mudflaps i recently added as well. I am not a big fan of the look of mudflaps but figure I would put them on for an upcoming trip. These are from a company called rekgen. I got them from here: https://rekgen.com/collections/truck-mud-flaps/products/rek-mesh-x-merica-mud-flaps . As far as fitment goes, the metal mesh is your mount point and you can use the factory hardware to bolt them right up. Be careful not to overtighten them or you could snap off the bracket on the plastic undercarriage. I may have snapped one or two during my install. shit happens.

The flat piece on my tail gate is from mountain hatch. You can find that here: https://mountainhatch.org/products/dodge-ram-1500-2019-2020 . The benefits are, flat surface, can be used for serving food or as a cutting board, also has cup holders built in for beers. The cut outs for beers was good enough for me to make the investment.

Seriously one of the coolest setups I've seen. You did such a good job....from the wheels & tires, to the bumpers (best looking aftermarket bumpers I've see to date), to all the work put into the smartcab setup....I would have never thought to set it up this way.

CONGRATS!!!!

Here is a photo of my dash. Upper left hand corner is a Garmin Mount for an RV785 android based navigation system. This is the same system as garmins overland navigation system just actually available for sale. Under the rear view mirror is a blend mount and valentine v1 Gen 2. On the dash is a bullet proof mounting solutions rubigrid. The drivers side is a 10cm magnetic mount for my phone. Center is a GoPro hero mount for video capture. Passenger side is a standard pinch mount for whoever is riding shotgun.

Looks great with 37x13.50 ... especially the Toyo MT since they are technically over 14" wide!
Stock suspension??
What wheel offset/width are those Fuel 20"?
Guessing 9" wide and around zero offset to make that work...

Did you notice much of a performance/mileage difference with the new tire/wheel setup?
The new wheels and tires were bolted up within the first 10 miles of ownership. Literally the day after the truck was delivered.
