Multiple TRX’s

The dealers can be penalized by Stellantis if they have too many “sold orders” that aren’t sold to the original name listed on the order. So they do care.
Yep. I've talked with two separate GMs at two different dealers. They explained exactly this.

I ordered 2 from the same dealer. They had no problem with it. First order placed in June. No action when 23 model year orders opened up. Contemplated it for a couple weeks before talking to dealership. No issue with them and I was able to negotiate a better deal on the second order. Second order placed early September

Nice, I only got 10 on so I got a long way to go. I guess I can’t get into an argument about this with you since technically ur a senior guy and I’m still considered junior in my department lol
Damn rookies!! Actually, after I retired I went the the DOD as a Paramedic. 10 years of that was enough, I got an age waiver at 48 and went back to Fire so I really only have 3 years here as an Engineer. Very likely Lt. in 23. Best job ever.

True but I was assuming this would be a one and done. Good point though.

Agreed. And good luck with the LT position, hope it works out

But is the penalty larger than the money they make back on reselling at a higher value on the floor?

My buddy is a Dodge salesman who I never buy from because they charge crazy markups. He justified high adm fees because the buyer shouldnt be able to buy then turn around and sell it for profit. Then he openly admitted to ordering several vehicles in his name, buys at employee pricing then sells to friends at a premium. The dealership got caught doing that in 22 on Redeyes and Jailbreaks. They were allocated I think 11 JB's and Dodge took back 7 of them and they got none in 23 so the penalty is severe......if they are caught.

I would hope Dodge/Ram treat that differently to genuine customer orders who back out

A lot of these posts remind me of why we had a toilet paper shortage not long ago.
