Mopar Driveshaft Clunk Repair

Mine is a 2021. 18k miles. Clunk is there all the time. Just took it to a dealer. They confirmed the issue, and ordered a "Rear Drive Shaft Boot Kit." to be installed. What is this? I just love this truck.

Fancy, special extra slippery porn "grease" that'l fix the issue for about three thousand miles... Enjoy the smooth ride for those three thousand...

This special lubricant gives a "hole" new meaning to "driven hard, and put away wet"
🤣🤣🤣🇺🇲

Temporary band aid unfortunately

All these dealers tell you anything less than a 5 Star Rating is unacceptable. Sounds to me like somebody might get 3 stars.
Yeah, curious to see how this is going to play out

I can confirm that the AF is the latest drive shaft and that it does not permanently resolve the clunk. Going to the dealer probably will not result in a drive line replacement if it has already been done. Remember the dealer only gets paid if Stellantis feels it is the correct fix. Since it did not fix the problem the fist time it will take a regional rep to OK the same warranty repair for a known issue that they know the repair will not fix. Everyones best course of action at this point is to contact @RamCares to get your issue on the books.

I bring them Amsoil and the grease and they charge me $125.00 for the oil change grease the shaft and rotate the tires.
Not a bad idea, I think I may talk to my dealer about just doing this going forward since there clearly is not a real fix for this issue right now.

Welp, grease kit was done yesterday by dealer...clunk is better but 100% still there.

I must be the only one that has had zero issues since I performed the TSB on my driveline. Almost 12,000 miles (knock on wood)…

Dang. That’s a healthy clunk then. Mine usually goes away for about 3k miles after greasing.

i watched him do it, to make sure they werent pulling a fast one...he showed me it and it was dry for sure.

I had my 2021 done at 36k miles and the clunk is back at 51k miles... Now im dealing with the latch recall causing my tailgate to open against my trailer jack while towing damaging my Tailgate... UGH

Being a Recall and the fact it returns do they make us pay for it to be greased after the first boot kit replacement?
