If you're in Southern California (Los Angeles area) I got my IGLA @fullblown_performance. Saved my truck a week ago.
I’ve gotten this message several times … what does it mean?Turn off and on..do it the right way and the code goes away..
If you have IGLA installed and getting these messages then you are entering the pin and starting it wrongI’ve gotten this message several times … what does it mean?
No real reason to remove it - it will not interfere with IGLA whatsoever. For someone already with Ravelco, are you leaving that device in when getting IGLA? The IGLA installer I called didn’t know what that is. As far as I understand, they would not impact each other.
Thanks. When IGLA is installed, I would need to leave it plugged in.No real reason to remove it - it will not interfere with IGLA whatsoever.
lol I just posted a thread asking the same thing. For someone already with Ravelco, are you leaving that device in when getting IGLA? The IGLA installer I called didn’t know what that is. As far as I understand, they would not impact each other.
Correct on all counts.Thanks. When IGLA is installed, I would need to leave it plugged in.
After IGLA is installed, I could theoretically unplug it for a second layer of protection, but still not have remote start. If I leave Ravelco plugged in, remote start would work and still have the protection of IGLA?
Correct. You can just leave it in but mount it in a different location up in the dash if you want to and leave the plug in it and remove whenever. That way the remote start works. They can’t interfere with each other. One is a can bus immobilizer and the other is 4 wires going to 2 cut circuits not on the can network.Thanks. When IGLA is installed, I would need to leave it plugged in.

NO.If remote started
Get in, press push to start
Enter pin code and let it flash 2 times
Wait 1 second and put into gear
I know having 2 of the settings on will allow you to enter pin before an aftermarket system takeover. Who is installing it, IGLA Socal? If so have Jon call me, would love to confirm it. Either way it is still correct.NO.
I can tell you, at least on my truck. Pushing the "start" button after a remote start (via FOB) will just shut the truck down. Maybe mine is installed wrong but that's what will happen.
I have to enter the pin when I get in, then push the start button, then shift.
Tho I just tried to confirm and the truck horn started going off and I couldn;t shut it down. I have Drone, it seems to give me the most issues. Had it disabled for a while but had an attempted theft so re-signed up. Not sure Drone is working right.
If my system is working incorrectly, please let me know. I have an installer coming by tomorrow to install IGLA and Drone on another truck and would like to get it installed properly.
With my IGLA/Compustar setup, my normal sequence is as follows:If you have IGLA installed and getting these messages then you are entering the pin and starting it wrong
Press start button 2 times, no brake.
Wait 1 second and then enter pin
Let it flash 2 times
Wait 1 second and then foot on brake and start it
If remote started
Get in, press push to start
Enter pin code and let it flash 2 times
Wait 1 second and put into gear
That would be correct, when not remote started the door can be open, compustar itself needs the door closed to takeover its when remote started. With my IGLA/Compustar setup, my normal sequence is as follows:
If not remote started:
Unlock via Compustar proximity unlock or Compustar fob, open door, get in, shut door, press and hold brake and then press/hold start button, once started, enter pin, get hazards to flash twice and then good to go.
If remote started:
Unlock via Compustar proximity unlock or Compustar fob, open door, get in, shut door, press and hold brake 2-3 seconds, release brake, enter pin, get hazards to flash twice and then good to go.
Yes Jon. I guess he knows your name/number? Our appointment is at 6 todayI know having 2 of the settings on will allow you to enter pin before an aftermarket system takeover. Who is installing it, IGLA Socal? If so have Jon call me, would love to confirm it. Either way it is still correct.
One guy left his in disconnected on the backside just as some visual tom foolery for a thief.Theif peer pressure sucks. Igla install booked. Removing revalco.

Yeah, I get the feeling he's more of a night owl.He does. I will give him a call in a few when he is up and awake lol
“West” isn’t really helping with a location. 702 I assume vegas area, I am actually there a bunch, brother lives in Southern Highlands. Will be out there in the next month or 2. Let me know your zip code and I can try and point you in the right directionWho is the best installer (or few) in the west for full IGLA, Compustar and the neutral strap lock? I read good things about Niche in AZ, but they don’t do Compustar apparently. Don’t mind driving for the right price and peace of mind they won’t mess up my truck
